7 days is a fun game, its a bit clunky at times but very fun with friends.

Although I recommend trying Maplestory, my review might change from future updates , but lets get into the review!
Disclaimer: My review is based on the reboot server because this is the only reason why I'm back to this game.

TL:DR Version
Released a Reboot Server which cuts off the p2w aspect in this game and rewards you by the amount of time you put into the game making the game fair and enjoyable.( Read more to find out whats so good about the Reboot Server)
If you want to play without paying, play the reboot server
If you want to play and spend 100's of dollar then play the reg server

So Maplestory, a game thats been out for over ten years and believe me I've been playing Maplestory on and off(mostly off) for 9 years. It says I have played for 17 hours but I played over 1000 hours in the game. When I first started playing this game the cash shop which is the item mall in this game consist of flashy cosmetic which didn't effect gameplay and 2x exp coupons which help boost your training which wasn't so bad just a bit of a time saver. As the years go on the game started to follow the p2w road and released cubes which are the items that can be purchase through the cash shop that can make your equipment even stronger. Now people who do not have the luxury to be able to spend money on the game started to become obsolete because there equipment that was worked so hard for wont be as strong as someone that cubed there equipment. Now reading all that you must be like well whats the point of playing if the game p2w. Well Nexon released a reboot server which IMO is really awesome and have been enjoying playing the game non stop. So what is so different about this reboot server which makes the game not a p2w no more?
Well here are some points that I think are helpful taken from Nexon update notes of the reboot server :

Monsters and Rewards

• Monster are stronger and gives more EXP. They also drop more Mesos(In game Currency)
  
• Weapons and Equips dropped from monsters will only be relevant based on your character job
  Items and Enchantment
  
• Trade system been removed meaning you will have to grind for money and equips on your own
  
• Item enhancing been simplified. Basically bonus potential and scrolls been removed
  
• Non-Equips items and mesos can only be moved from one character to another.
  Cash Shop
  
• Many items been removed. Able to purchase Cubes and other Useful items with MESOS only.

  So in conclusion if you planning on playing this game and dont want to spend money it is possible now with the reboot server and you will have alot of fun if you have the time to put into this game.

THIS GAMES IS FREKIN AMAZING. BUT WARNING: this game isnt your average fps so you need to get use to the gameplay and mechanics. Once you understand the game it should be fun to play. Good start is playing with the class soldier since its the easiest of them all
