Fun halo, Bad for free to play players. I feel like I'm just playing the free trial of the real game when I play. The customization options are very limited if you do not purchase the battle pass or the premium currency. The battle pass is a fee you pay to get rewards as you level up. Without that battle pass you get little to nothing, which make leveling up pointless. The battle pass only lasts for a season, so it is a recurring fee. To add salt to the wound, when you level up without the battle pass, the game will wave a shiny piece of armor in your face and tell you that it could have been yours if you bought the battle pass. It's just cosmetics, but we used to get this sort of thing in our games for no additional fees. The multiplayer is "free" but 343 is still charging full price for the Halo Infinite campaign. So they just released the multiplayer early so they could load it up with as much free to play elements as possible without people complaining. You can't even freely pick the color of your spartan without paying for it. They have a store that has different cosmetics every week, but it only uses premium currency, so you can't even grind to get this stuff. I am a big halo fan, but I think I might wait for a sale on the campaign, because It's not worth the full price with the multiplayer ripped out.

Waste of money. I'm too low leveled to unlock any of the costumes, and I can't be bothered to grind for them, and even If I did there would be nothing left to play while wearing the costumes, because there is no proper new game +.
Great game, but bad DLC.
