How are we supposed to figure this out on our own? I hate the way video games are made these days, figuring out the game mechanics should not be part of any game.

I will not play this anymore. I had to look up "level one" after 10min, these games always feel like they're made for specific age groups or something...so disappointing.

"Overwhelmingly Positive"

This game is ABSOLUTELY incredible!!!
9.5/10...

...but I will not finish it. For whatever reason: the devs are anti-spoiler to a point where they seem to be forcing it. All I want is a quick explanation of how to solve "EVERYTHING" from the beginning of carrot town, until the end of the game. The whole process of talking to these "Gumbys" and spending time to solve a puzzle that both bores me and involves getting clues from said Gumby people, is no longer worth my time.

I waited over a year with the game having overwhelmingly positive reviews, but there is still not a SINGLE PROPER WALKTHROUGH anywhere... every YT video with the word walkthrough is a "let's play".

My review of this game will only change back to positive once an "overwhelmingly" simplified explanation exists somewhere of HOW to play the game if you have no idea where to go and dislike "clues" OR you have time constraints/loss of interest but still wish to see the end.

This is the devs telling us "how" to play their game, that's unacceptable to me, now...awesome game in every other way, though.

I haven't played a turn-based like this in a while, great monster art and spell animations. It's definitely worth it for fans of old FF/BoF games who like the idea of improved visual quality at a fair price!

Game "stopped" recognising the XBONE wired controller until I used GZDoom(a "sourceport"...it took forever to even find out what that means, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ morons speak a different "english" these days). The problem is not on my end.

If I have to use a mod to make a game work properly; it does not deserve a recommendation.

Metroidvania is my favourite genre and this game is pissing me off.

-The falling and invisible platforms are the WORST thing in Megaman games and I'm seeing it in every level.
-I bought an "upgrade" that draws in items, was doing an amazing run and lost everything(item drawing included) because of that "weapon". I couldn't even see it, looked like a short range quick weapon...but the info was in the way of "seeing" the "falling platforms" and it killed me to get that weapon, when I tried to leave("full health" lost from repeatedly falling).
-I spent hours wasting scrap when I die before I learned the recycle place is a shop.

Not enough is explained in-game. I have mastered a few Megaman games and enjoy rogue-lites, so having to disable a feature(games UI) to play properly and constantly deal with the one Megaman game mechanic I hate are enough to downvote.

I changed my mind, the RNG is so atrocious that it becomes unplayable unless you enjoy hurting yourself and wasting time you'll never get back.

Only buy if 95% off. I hate it now.

...call it whatever genre handle you will; this game is Cyberpunk/Souls-like and I found it harder than Dark Souls, but not harder than Cyborg Justice. Staff is the most "broken" thing in the game, if you know how to use it.

I got lost...a lot.

I absolutely LOVED putting Dubstep in the Med-Bay!...that original country music, tho. I like Conway Twitty.

I will never play this again, this and EVERY OTHER fighting game that has the pre-boss fights beatable by button mashing only to fight an unfair boss.

This is being deleted and a bad review written for being so unbalanced, the worst I have seen and I have played KOF games and other Guilty Gear ripoffs.

-7 matches = boring and easy, 1st fight was as hard as the 6th
-8th match = gimmicky and overpowered boss that made me "rage delete", lol
-...cool characters and fighting mechanics.

I'm so sick of this bad "difficulty development". Fighting games made in this era don't have a learning curve. A lot of people will get to that boss easily, get perfected(almost) and delete the game...I did.
