Really fun little game. Would like more content or even a paid DLC.

I have been enjoying the game with what little I have played so far. Though, after having multiple crashes to desktop along with a blue screen and errors at the kernel level that I think might be related to nProtect GameGuard (which doesn't even stop cheating in the first place, its mostly DRM) leading me to further look into said anti cheat... I can't recommend this game. It might be a risk to your system. I say wait until it is updated and the anti cheat is removed or changed to something else.

Can't recommend it until the game gets fixed. Every time you restart a mission or need to reload, the game tends to crash and corrupts your save. I have tried all the fixes online from reinstalling video drivers to adding a dword value for a tdr delay in my registry editor. There is also an issue where pressing the two inputs on my controller for specials / finishers only succeeds 30% of the time, and i have tested this on 3 different devices. I have even looked for unofficial patches but haven't found anything that seems to fix the issues.

Very entertaining. Being built on UE5 it has more potential then Phasmo imo.

The merge of CS:GO and CS2 reviews is scummy as all hell, they are not the same game at all. The only thing in CS2 that functions even similarly to CS:GO is case openings, because of course, the gamba has to work.

In its current state IMO CS2 is not it. If you enjoy poor performance / stutters, constant crashes, rubber-banding, a complete lack of bullet punch, teleporting enemies, broken hit reg, bad nade bounces / physics and a run and gun shotgun / smg meta, it might be for you!

The sub-tick system sounded like a good idea but it is terrible and only widens the disparity between different pings. Holding angles seems impossible now and there is a significant advantage to peeking as fast as possible, especially when some guns seem to have no penalty for being at max momentum.

What you see is definitely not what you get. I've experienced AWP shots going straight through enemies and have also seen a multitude of different clips with disappearing sprays or invalid registers / broken hitboxes or weird movement glitches.

Cheating seems to be just as prevalent as ever and its harder now to tell whats legit and what isn't due to the randomness of the sub-tick system, oh and the fact we can't download our matches right now to watch back our games from the perspective of our opponents...

On top of all that lets talk about how they hard coded 64 tick into the game to prevent services like FacIt or ESEA from hosting 128 tick servers. How that is going to screw up some community servers and some surf or bhop maps (if they ever become a thing).

All we wanted was 128 tick and a functioning anti-cheat. Thanks Valve...

Oh, also the fact there wasn't an operation and is less content and things to do in this "release" made it very underwhelming. You could have done something cool on release for the community rather than a CS:GO pin. Almost feels like you don't care about the player base at all.

They have fixed a great deal of my earlier complaints, but the game has gotten so full of blatant cheaters and smurfs its almost impossible to enjoy it. In wingman a friend and I played fifteen matches together and came across 8 blatant cheaters out of our 30 opponents. The higher ranks are completely infested and premier / comp mode has wallers and trigger botters everywhere. The people we play against have 100 aim rating on Leetify and perfect spray patterns. In the demmos you can watch their crosshairs bounce all over the place (inb4 some idiot comes in here and says demo's are bugged) Hell, with a quick look at YouTube live streams you can find people streaming themselves cheating. Its a mess...

VAC DOES NOT WORK

First off my specs are.

64 gigs ddr5 6000 ram
3080ti
2tb nvme ssd
1200 wat psu

The game ran poorly no matter what I did. The camera movement was so clunky and randomly flung around it was very frustrating and disorienting. I couldn't even decide whether I enjoyed the gameplay or not because I got fed up with having to correct my camera angle after it randomly did a 180 or shot 90 degrees up or down. I had no controller connected and even tried a different mouse / multiple settings changes. Even if I tried to move my mouse as smooth as possible, it was like the sensitivity would randomly fly up and down. I requested a refund.
