42 Hours played
This is an exemplary game that tells the story well, and blends in just the right amount of H-content in the process. It has serious and silly situations. Truly it is a roller coaster ride for one's psyche and emotion. Before long, the player will find themselves worry, and concern about the protagonist's future, well being and so on.

Reasons to play:
-Such a game is rare in a world where H-games of the anime variety rampage. If you like those, bless your heart, this is not anime styled, this is better and more cultural/refined.
-Style, the artistic style of the game, it deserves an artist's observation and evaluation.
-Amount of content, literally, there's a mountain of content to enjoy.
-Challenge, in Claire's world, she's not some magic armor clad heroine, she's way more real, and you need to step up your game helping her through all the dangers and journey.
-Blend of popular gaming motifs and references to all sorts of interesting cultural symbolism. You'll become more well read playing this game.

Reflections:
-I can't wait to see the final product.
-I wish there's more, I can't get enough of this.
-I wish more games are like this one.
-I have nothing negative to say about it.
-If anything I guess I wish the production team has 200x the funding they have and make this an AAA title.

In summation, I hope you have a great time playing it. "Claire's Quest" will please A LOT of people, but it's not for absolutely everyone. This is just my personal take on it.

Do you like foreign policy and strategy? Do you like to play a game of pretence and place the fate of a nation in your hand? Do you like linear programming and optimisation and the simplex method? Do you have a lot of free time to kill? Do you ask a lot of what-if question in history class? This game might be a good tool to full fill your fantasy.

My PROs for this game:
-Good looking interface and game environment, I like to collect tiles of resources because they look pretty.
-I like chess but it is a bit dull graphically, so Civ V is my alternative strategy game. it fells good to beat the AI with my secret plot.
-I like simulator games and I enjoy getting rich in the game.
-The quotes in the game are well chosen and made me think.
-I learned a lot from the game. vocabulary, history, art, theology, geography and so on.
-the aspect of exploration in the game is exciting.
-I like the unit models, they are like cute little figurines that I can collect.
-I can name my units and thus pretend I'm the commander of say for instance "The 2nd capital defence division" or Battleship "Ivy". it's fun to pretend :D

My CONs for the game
-the leader AI could be more unpredictable and more human like.
-sometimes I experience graphical bugs.
-the religion system does not feel like a big part of the game, it could be bigger.

In conclusion, I have way more positive things to say about this game than criticism. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. Give it a try.

Cheers.
