I am a big fan of the Baldur's Gate franchise and this newest instalment does not disappoint. Visually a treat and with no loss to story and exploration possibilities. Job bloomin' well done.

Just into early access and this newborn is looking fabulous. I have only had time to run one dungeon, but I am already impressed by the depth of the game. Right from the start there are combos to find and work to your best advantage. I am loving the thief type character and the enhancements he has to increase his damage and survivablity!
I just know that given more time to investigate and tinker about I will find great combinations for the healer and the fighter too.
Considering this is early access the game is looking really gorgeous. You never know what you are going to get with EA but this has impressed so far. I can wholeheartedly recommend this game for those of you who like like to think first then shoot!

I have been playing this game for a while now and I have not had to put a penny in to it. If you wanted to whip through some bits quickly you could pay for convenience I suppose but it is not necessary. Yes it will take me a while to complete it but I am not in a rush. I think it is well put together and probably would have spent some money to support it if I could have seen some real positives for doing so. As far as I can tell all of the achievements are obtainable from regular play.
I like the story line and the 'world'. It is interesting and the fact that I have stuck with it as long as I have means it must have something going for it!
If you are in a hurry to complete a game do not pick this one, but for long term playability this is worth a go!

Back to the days when you actually had to get the grey cells working to get through a game. Do not expect to like this game if your idea of a good game involves bashing as many keys on the keyboard as possible.
