Tomb Raider was my first Steam Purchase and it was amazing. Not only does it allow players to explore but also to kick (kill) some ass. Throughout the game, players will witness the development from an innocent and inexperienced woman into the hardened badass hottie that is Lara Croft. (Needless to say, thanks to the graphical and technological advancements, the designers were able to show how beautiful she really is - and the landscapes... and stuff)

The game provides a level of flexibility for players in developing the character's skills and also her weapons'. There are also several challenges or easter eggs in the game that is really fun to hunt out, not too difficult but just enough to be challenging.

This game has gotten me sold to any future Tomb Raider games that I'd come across. The story's great, the graphics are crystal clear (assuming your platform specs meets the requirement), the adventure and drama is there, even the background sound is fitting. It all came together to produce this wonderful adventure with the beautiful and badass Lara Croft.

I'd recommend this game 10/10.

I love this game. I honestly enjoyed it very much. I was able to buy this game during a good sale and so I was really pleased with the value for money of the game. Though completing the game was faster than I imagined, it turned out to be a pleasant surprise because it felt worth it. Also because I know that there's going to be a sequel.

Just several things as to why I think this game is worth playing/buying (on a sale if possible):

1. Soundtrack/Music: Absolutely wonderful. I have to say that the music had a huge part in giving the proper atmosphere and mood throughout the game. It makes no wonder as to why the Soundtrack is being sold. It gives a beautiful and extremely adequate pairing with this nordic, medieval game.

2. Art: The game shows a unique style of art that is not like the other games that boasts on some high-tech digital art rendering but classic and beautiful drawn art or seemingly drawn. There is no want for skill involved in the making of the game, even the landscapes and sceneries involved are pleasant to see.

3. Story: Playing the game left me wanting for more. I immediately got myself immersed in the storyline of each character. You can tell that the background of the story is quite rich and has a lot of potential, truly gives you the unique feeling of living in the medieval ages or the nordic ages which I crave for.

4. Gameplay: I enjoyed the mix of the RPG and strategy that the game uses. It is simple enough that it doesn't overcomplicate things but interesting and versatile enough that there is room for strategising and being challenged. Additionally, the game provides players with decision making options that alters, whether significantly or not (Most consider not), the story line. This dependence on the user decision is what is lacking in most RPGs today and it is very nice to see it being used here. Although not an open world type of a game, it gives a certain feeling of freedom and adventure.

For these reasons I recommend this game. Especially if there's a sale, very worth it. I guess one thing I love about the game is really the potential it has to be developed into a classic masterpiece. I hope it does reach that level. Nonetheless, I think everyone should give this game a try.
