I really want to like this game, I really do. But I just can't seem to find it.

Now let me get something straight. I have not played any of the other Tomb Raiders, so this is just my first. And yes, the game is somewhat entertaining, with the visuals and some pretty smooth controls here and there. But the things that make me dislike this are:

Dull story and lack of entertaining gameplay.

Before you shout at me, let me explain myself. No, I haven't beaten the campaign yet. Why? Because I found it too boring. After a while, I just saw that it was the same 'shoot the bad guys and you win' thing was getting over and over. That is what usually drops me out of things like shooters and what not. Not to mention, the puzzles in this game were really simple. All I had to do was walk on over to some sort of icon that the game tells me and I hold down a button for 3 seconds. Boom. Progress. And the story in this game was just so.. eh. What I mean by that is that I wasn't really into it. As far as I was concerned from what I got out of it, there were some people on an island and you're stuck on it trying to get out while they try to get you. Creative? No. Interesting? No. And the characters, honestly, I couldn't care less what happened to them. Even Lara, I had fun just seeing her get squashed by rocks and being shot at arrows!

Overall, I guess I can say I was disappointed. If you have played the other games, maybe you would think differently. But for me just playing this one, I found it too repetitive and really boring.

If you're looking for a realistic shooter, then you're at the right place. This is not your average Call of Duty or Battlefield game, no no. This game is more realistic than you think.

During this game, you have no hud whatsoever, other than the neccessary of the jobjectives, teamates, and what weapons you have equipped. Other than that, you're left to guess. There is no kill feed, so you don't know if you killed your enemy or not, so you have to double tab to keep check! Also, you have very low health. Like you would think, to die in this game is really easy. About 2-3 shots should do it.

The guns sound actually like guns. Not your pewpew situation. The graphics are pretty sweet, and the way that your gun wobbles around when you move just adds a nice touch to the whole thing. With the way your inventory is set up, you have to consider what kind of attatchments you will need for later on in battle, as they can mean the difference between life and death. Don't die too much though! Run out of reinforcements and you lose!

Overall, this game is really good fun. Just make sure not to shoot your friends out of sheer panic when they come around the corner!

Pros:
+Realistic
+Addicting
+Good visuals
+Adrenaline pumping
+Very intense
+Teamwork is needed

Cons:
-New people to the FPS genre are going to struggle a bit on this one. But once you master it, you are set! Don't go gunblazin!

Now when I played the first Poker Night, I really liked it. I got to play with some of my favorite video game characters and such. It was a neat idea, and I managed to grab all the rewards from it. And then I saw there was a sequel to it.

The main reason why I wanted to buy this game was becaue it had my two favorite robots, Claptrap, and most certainly GLaDOS (best villain btw). And as always, there was rewards that came with it to put on my TF2 players. Now the good things about this game; the humor. I was laughing left and right whether it be the dumb remarks coming from Claptrap, or the really sarcastic humor coming from GLaDOS. Either way, I was surprised on how funny it was, because I wasn't aiming high. There were a few problems though.

As you would imagine, the lines would get really repetitive. Seeing two characters talk inbetween hands and such is cute at first, but then later on it just gets annoying hearing the same story over and over again. Not to mention they say the same line whenever you go All-In most of the time. There was one bug I found that if you manage to click one of the "Call" or "Fold" buttons really quickly as soon as your turn pops up, it tends to close the menu and keep me stationary limbo. It got really annoying considering I was about to win a tournament. A little tip is if you want to try and get all of the special items really fast, play Omaha.

Overall, this game lives up to it's first one, and I do enjoy playing it. Despite the repetiveness and a game breaking bug I found, it's still a very enjoyable game with a surprising amount of humor in it.

Pros:
-Really Funny
-Addicting
-Special items to unlock for TF2 or another game
-Customizable table, chips, and cards
-GLaDOS being GLaDOS
-Games can last up to almost an hour

Cons:
-Lines get repeated a lot
-Game Breaking bug that's easy to get
-Gets awkward sometimes when they just talk in general

The first time I picked up this game, I was a little bit skeptical. Sure the reviews said that it was a really fun game, but not all people are the same. I thought this was going to be your average survive-them-up. But after buying it, I decided to play with it for a moment.

I fell in love instantly.

This game is not your average shooter. The gun mechanics are very smooth, and I can actually carry a gun around knowing that I actually feel protected by it. And when the slow motion activates? Probably the most satisfying thing you will ever encounter in your life. It makes me feel like a badass if anything. The game is not that hard to get used to, and overall it's just an amazing game. I reccomend you pick it up right now if you are still thinking it over. Trust me, you won't regret it.

The only problem I have with this game, is that there seems to be an awfully lot of DLC. Other than that, it's an awesome game!

I sort of have a mixed opinion on this one, but I find that the pros outweigh the cons slightly.

Spore is a game where you can create your own species, and make them Carnivores, Herbivores, or Omnivores. It's up to you. You have free will to make it look and do whatever you like, as long as you can gather enough DNA points that is, which is normally collected by just completing simple tasks. You can befriend other generated species made by the community, or you can make them your enemy and completely wipe them out off your continent. The choice is yours.

There are five stages (in a nutshell) : Water, Land, Tribal, Economy, and Space. They are all equally lengthy and manage to keep you in your seat for a while, as a whole new creation mechanic is added to each one.

And then there are the cons of the game. As always, games are not perfect. I find that as I get farther down the five stages, each one gets more and more boring after a while. Sure, it adds new things, but I personally liked the first two stages the best. The first two gave you the power to move around your creature. In the last 3 stages, you are stuck using the point and click mechanics.

Overall, the game is quite fun and can kill a few hours. But after a while it just gets a little bit boring, and I don't really see me playing this one again.

Pros:
-Free Will to create species
-Creativity is the way to play
-Do whatever you want and make your own path
-Kind of a lengthy game if you explore most of the land

Cons:
-Gets very boring after a while and loses creativity
-Last 3 stages are point and click, which kind of ruin it
-Can get confusing at times

This game is rather fun when you have a team that actually takes it seriously to a point where it doesn't involve death threats and calling names. It has a very interesting style to it, which I enjoy. The main key in this game, however, is how you use teamwork to crush the enemy team.

Only problem is, sometimes you would find the team that uses no communication or teamwork what so ever, and this eventually causes you terrible death and losing streak. There aren't really a lot of people out in this game to provide such cooperation, but I've managed to find a few diamonds in the rough. But as always, all games aren't perfect.

Overall, it is a very nice and engaging game once you get the mechanics of it, which isn't too hard. It's nice to steer away from all of the other first person shooters like Call of Duty and Battlefield, since this adds a new twist to it. I would recommend trying to team up with your buddies and online friends if you really want to do any good.

Pros:
-Addicting
-Uses Cooperation and teamwork for key point
-Isn't very hard (Once you get used to it, of course)
-Great fun with friends
-Very intense at times

Cons:
-Sometimes buggy
-Hard to find many players that use the teamwork
