Early Access Review
Even in early access the potential of this tool is obvious, but to be viable as an actual RPG utility for remote play it is *essential* that there be a cheap/free player-side version for accessing the game without every player needing to buy a full-priced copy. What is especially absurd is the developer trying to spin this this as somehow being a customer-friendly choice that doesn't "treat people just as consumers". Total nonsense.

Edited review...

I first reviewed this game shortly after release. It was buggy and glitchy then but still a very good game and I recommended it. But the CP77 of late 2022 is a *very* different game. What was once very good is now great. Phenomenal. The vast majority of bugs and glitches are long-gone, to the point where it has far fewer than comparable games of it's size and scope, and CDPR have added and improved hundreds - perhaps thousands - of elements as well as adding new content. Had CP77 released in the state it's in now it would be sweeping GotY awards. This game is more than worth your time and money. Get it now.

Over the past several decades I've played just about every iteration and mutation of the city building game - starting with the original Sim City back on the Apple II - and without a doubt Cities Skylines is the pinnacle of the genre.

A surprisingly detailed recreation of the Pathfinder rules. Perhaps a little impenetrable for those unfamiliar with the tabletop game but worth the effort to figure out. A clear homage to Baldur's Gate and its siblings but it does enough new and different to stand alone as more than a simple reskin of that old classic. A little buggy but so far a lot more stable and polished than the majority of AAA release from much bigger companies. I back the Kickstarter to help get this game made and I'm glad I did. Looking forward to sinking many hours into it.
