Excellent creature collector, strongly recommend.

Made it to the destiny level 6 wall in one sitting before taking a break. Easily the best roguelike of the year for me.

I buy pretty much all of these roguelites that come along, I'm very happy with what they've done with this game.

It's off to a good start but needs a lot more time to cook.

Had a great time pushing through the content making some awesome builds, Will come back to it when it has more content.

Played it for an hour and all i can say it Just buy it honestly, Pure chaos. Ultra high quality.

I am a huge fan of the survivor/roguelike genre, I have struggled to enjoy Brotato. Melee and ranged feel the same regardless of what you play. The progression doesn't feel rewarding at all.

I'll keep an eye on the game as it progresses and may change my review in the future but as the game as it is now is boring compared to other survivor games.

The initial run through unlocking everything is some of the most entertaining and rewarding gameplay experience on a roguelike.

After unlocking everything though it feels like an absolute chore to play, I strongly recommend the game however we will have to wait for an "end-game" to be released which will come with time i understand.

Interesting game I think it has great potential.

Hopefully the Dev can get rid of these weird movement system. Once thats sorted this will be really good definitely worth checking out.

UPDATED REVIEW AFTER 20 HOURS:

After fleshing out most of the gameplay and unlocking stuff I can say without a doubt this is one of the more interesting roguelike survivors, A couple builds are completely broken but i expect that to be fixed with coming updates.

- Movement is very strange but once you get the hang of it, it is very rewarding.
- Ranged enemies are a bit OP very deceptive speed on their projectiles.
- Without using the broken builds the challenges are incredibly difficult so good job on that.
- There is a very healthy balance of variety at the moment among the weapon choices, some naturally are much more viable than others how ever the game does not feel so restricting that you have to use one weapon type to progress. Randomly made it to wave 40 with a new level 1 melee.

Bought this game for a couple mates I suggest if you do enjoy this game spread it around its cheap as ♥♥♥♥, Cannot wait for future updates this games potential is SKY HIGH.

This is a really iffy one for me.

I would definitely recommend playing it, however balance is pretty out of whack. The initial ascent to reincarnation 8 will be very fun. However once you get there the replayability just falls off a cliff. Each character has their own unique playstyle but you will inevitably gravitate towards one character and find others miserable to play. The gun variety also falls into this some weapons are just superior to others.

overall 7/10 game.
