Awesome game!
For it's epoch, it has brilliant graphics, mainly the light and shadow effects.
Besides that, the physics mechanics of carrying and throwing objects it's pretty realistic. If you ever played Half-life series, this game may gives you flashes while lifting a rock to solve the next puzzle.
The thing I most loved about the game is it's story and the way it is told. The writers did a good job exploring the amnesia of character. As you read the notes, you get terrified, surprised and I guarantee that absolutely interested in what is going on with that damn place... And with you.
Playing amnesia made me scream a lot. It's impossible to not get involved with all the horror and suspense. It's a gore, yet magnificent game. You can expect for a lot of blood and psychologic terror, since you'll be facing a lot of bodys without limbs and vice-versa. The visual along with the whole well detailed description of agonizing storys will give you goose pimples.
Good end, decent gameplay and I don't know if I was lucky or if the game's indeed made by a cautious team, but I have face zero bugs.
I recommend the Amnesia: The Dark Descent experience for gamers in general. You don't really need to put effort to like this game and enclasp with it.
