This game is not without its flaws. The PvP isn't the most balanced, and sometimes the dev's struggle with the pace at which they put out new content.

But I will say that I have never played a shooter with better mechanics and tactile feel than this game. No other game pulls me back in season after season to grind out new god rolls of new guns. They have some of the best written lore in gaming today, even if most of it is hidden in books and tabs instead of cutscenes, but that lends somewhat to its appeal. The hunt for knowledge and a thirst for power are thematically applied to the game but also metaphorical to the player itself.

From paracausal wish dragons to demonic worm gods turned into a sniper rifle that whispers into your ear, corrupting you as you pop heads... wahtever the writers are smoking... I want some.

Probably one of the best Star Wars games ever made. Revolutionary in the impact your actions have on your crewmates... if not for this games like Mass Effect probably wouldn't be here.
