There was a time when 3.13 came out when I would have said this was the perfect game. Literally the perfect ARPG for people craving a challenging ARPG that respects your time and rewards your effort and knowledge.

However, some extreme fear of even the smallest determinism has turned that respect into waste. There is still fun to be had in the game, there is no denying that, but ever since 3.13 the game slowly started to spit on your time invested. Goals that took me 60 hours to achieve now take me more than 100 and a lot of actually fun and engaging stuff was just removed entirely.

I understand that they have some vision of what the game should be, but you cannot be getting closer and closer to Borderlands high difficulty bullet spongy enemies, yet those same enemies to be destroying max block, 85% res, 120k armor characters and expect people to be having fun with that. You cannot remove most forms of determinism from the game and expect people to not feel like they are in front of a crappy slot machine, just using time instead of money for deposits.

One of the most entertaining games I have played in my whole life. The game gives you so much fun for so many hours with friends or even alone.
