The game used to be great,research several planes at once in different nations and with time its gotten worse and the up tiering is horrendous as are the rewards.A game long pasted its sell by date.

Love this game and the changes they have made. Adds some what if scenarios, new units (some prototype) and allows you to play alot of well known battles and some less so known, a great addition to the pazner korps family.

Huge improvement on the first of the genre love the defenses in breakthrough mode they make that mode alot more fun and interesting.I just wish the campaign you could go past the historical end date/win condition and maybe have co op campaign in the future too would be fun or at least the battles you fight within the campaign.

Edit:Love the edition of all the new divisions and the ones from Steel Division '44 and they even have tweaks and some new units added to them too.

For its age the graphics and gameplay are amazing the AI (squad) is pretty smart too and well its Star Wars whats not to love! Get those Clankers!

Yes im doing this review over 5 years later,yes the game was ok at the start but had its issues.Now however the game is amazing plenty of in depth dlc if you wish to delve into the history and the political overhual is fantastic just gives the game more depth and meaning the only thing that is probaly lacking compared to say Shogun 2 would be the comabt animations otherwise this is an all round great Total War game.

Like all Historical titles before it (and those to come) its awesome same engine as Attila which is fine it means they have spent time on making some changes and polishing the game rather than putting all time and effort into just making it look good.The new mechanics are really fun and when building armies etc you now have to plan ahead abit more. I only know the very basic facts about this era and Alfred the Great and some fictional (The Last Kingdom) but this game has made me want to look into this time in history alot more. Would recommended this game to anyone who loves thier Historical titles.

Love this game the detials are amazing,theres potential for replaying the scenarios choosing different laws and choosing different options when finding survivors etc.As grim as it is the exicution ability and other abilities you can use through out the game are really cool and yes it would be cool to have a mode that never really ends but i think that would get boring quickly without events like you have in the scenarios.

10/10 enjoying the end of the world
