This game scratches many itches, and provides many freedom moments to share with friends. Freedom moments like enjoying a cold beer with the squad after nuking a bug planet, or liberating an automaton world.

I've always wanted to have PTSD dreams of punching in konami codes. 10/10

Early Access Review
Pretty fun game to get spooked and play with friends. Looking forward to future patches and additional features. There is a lot of potential for this game.

I've only clocked in 1000 hours in this game, so yes, I'm still a beginner.

Fantastic game overall. You can really tell that the developers put a lot of time and effort into it, the DLC content is almost always reasonably priced for what you get, along with the FLC content on top of that.

I've inadvertently pulled all nighters with campaigns, conquering the world one turn at a time.

My review of gauntlet so far.... The game brings something new to the franchise while still keeping the formula that I grew up loving from Gauntlet Legends, and Gauntlet Dark Legacy. Each of the four classes plays different in a dynamic way, along with no option to play the same class when playing multi-player, while some consider it a negative thing, I believe it helps keep the team you have balanced in the dungeons, no redundancy.

** Warning Spoilers Ahead.**

Each level is divided into three Acts.

Act I - Standard, fun mobs, get loot, solve puzzles, the puzzle piece of this is the nice part, it keeps you thinking when you're fighting through hordes of enemies, rather than mindlessly pressing buttons.

Act II - It is a race to the finish, whether it be an erupting volcano, encroaching darkness, or even Death himself. You are forced to keep on your toes.

Act III - It's a hold out. Wave after wave of monsters swarm at you in a varied arena.

Relics - Powerful items that allow you to use pretty sweet abilities. Ranging from super increased attack speed to summoning mirror images of your hero for increased damage and crowd control.

Overall I would give the latest Gauntlet an 8.3/10. The only gripes I have with it, is it was no where near as lengthy that Dark Legacy or Legends. If there is ever any DLC for this game, I'd highly recommend they rebuild Gauntlet Dark Legacy Levels/story.
