S-Tier JRPG, dethroning many of my long-time favorites in the genre.
Good mix between mainline SMT and simpler Persona-esque combat, and while demon fusion is sorely missed the new Archetype system is fresh and different.
Outside of combat the game and story feels like a more adult Persona entry, with side stories focusing on deeper themes which is a welcome change. The music is also phenomenal.
Easy recommendation for new and veteran JRPG players alike. Just be sure you're ready for an 80hr+ commitment :)
