Having only heard about this game on the day of it's release, my curiosity got the better of me and I couldn't hold out more than 24 hours before I bought it.

I would say the best way to go into this game is to go completely blind, knowing nothing, just the assurance that is is a fantastic game (exactly as I did, no regrets). The writing and story in this game is unparalled, in plenty of games where I am never too interested in the story and am skipping over all the text, I actually feel compelled to read every little tidbit about the lore and history of the world, as it really draws me in. I may only have 6 hours in the game so far, but that is really a testament as to how deep this game draws you in!

Made by Obsidian (Fallout NV, KoTor, among others) on kickstarter (perhaps why I had never heard of this game until now), it is a well thought out, sometimes complex (but not overwhelmingly so, everything is explained very well in tooltips) old school party RPG. However the complexity lends itself to variety, in all the classes, abilities, weapons, spells, so that no two playthroughs will be the same, even if you are using exactly the same class as last time.

The combat, is first and foremost really really fun. As complex as it is, I never felt like I didn't know what I was doing, and after getting used to it, pulling of really awesome combos of spells and attacks is really satisfying, and I never felt like the game was unfair, any mistakes were made by me, and I learnt from those, for the next fight.

I would recommend anyone who is a fan of RPGs in general and good storytelling. Is the game worth it's full price? Hell yes. Did I pay full price for it? ..... Student life.

In what other game can I shapeshift into a bear and maul my enemies when sh*t hits the fan?

CS:GO Review
Great competitive play, easy to learn, hard to master, some moments will be so tense you will find yourself absorbed into the game.

One of the worst games I've ever had the misfortune to play. Avoid this like the plague.
