Early Access Review
This game will kick your ass when you start

Game has a feel of both in game upgrade progression and player skill progression

Fun gun play and interesting usage of limited ammo, by capping your ammo for your special/secondary weapons at a small amount but is easily refillable via C-balls and killing marked enemies

the marked system is an interesting system, having to use grenades and abilities to mark enemies so they drop ammo and shields.

Soundtrack is phenomenal and feels fitting for each area and the bosses.

the whole early access being part of the games story right now is also great, as what the player is hasn't be legally authorised, the game is actually just simulations of what the player character is GOING to be doing when the game comes out.

I would highly recommend this to fans of rogue lites and first person shooters. Somehow feels like a fresh take on both at the same time.

I, honestly feel like this is the best "Soulsborne" game I've, ever played, (that wasn't dark souls)

Having to find the info on what exactly happened
The freedom of builds, with very few items being "unusable" (exceptions are the pipe and the shard, but, they're still pretty good)
No random players invading you, multiplayer not disconnecting when someone dies
and the fact you don't have to beat all the bosses, you only have to get your data to 100% to "finish" the game, (there is more then one ending, based on, various factors)
the fact you unlock weapon skills with weapon usage was quite nice, makes some weapons a lot better later on
I, honestly think this game has not gotten the attention it deserves, this game, I would call a master piece, but, it isn't perfect, I feel like the game, lacked in some areas, I felt there could have been more areas, and, a bit more variety in weapon (there are only like, five ranged weapon types, and versions of them with different damage types)

Door in the woods, is a master piece of a game.
Truly capturing the brutality of surviving in a world teeming with eldritch horrors.
You need to eat, you need to drink, and you need to try and not go insane.
While people might say the graphics are, bad, it really isn't a problem, but there is clever usage of letters, such as z and Z zombies being different, z zombies are much easier to kill, probably because they are, kiddo zombos.
Scavenging is a major part of this game, break into houses and loot what you can, you've got to use everything you find to try to survive (you ARE going to die at some point)
I should also mention the game is being updated quite often, just today, ramen noodles were added, (they are quite good in combating hunger), the game has gameplay deeper than just pictures of it can show, due to the turn based nature of it. Also, some people are claiming the lack of a save mechanic ruins the game, quite the opposite in fact, for their is no safety in this game, there is no escape, all you can do is push as far as you can.

Monster hunter is, a unique game.
A master piece of a game that, honestly, I am sad I turned down playing previous games in the series throughout the years.
The game seems simple, hunt monsters, but the variety of how each monsters fight, every single weapon type being viable.
Sure, there might be a few event quests that didn't get to the pc version (and some that won't be in iceborne, looking at YOU horizon zero dawn crossover stuff, being PS4 exclusive, but the rewards from those, are outshone by stuff you can get pretty easily), but you also have AMAZING load times compared to console (I've played Xbox one due to iceborne getting to consoles first, the delay between pc and console is actually explainable, as this is the first game that the Monster Hunter development team has made for pc, so they took more time, as to prevent mistakes caused by rushing it out),
The story is, interesting, don't expect a big massive indepth story, its still a good story though.
Did I mention that you can makes shoes out of pretty much everything you fight? If that doesn't suit you, you can makes hats instead, as every large monster has a full set of armour for you to make out of them, along with weapons that are also made out of monsters, fought a giant fire breathing t-rex? Make a sword out of him that has fire damage. Like a monster a lot? Wear it!
I will say, the game might appear to have lots of, BS, as people call it, and, I mean, the Arch tempered have some REAL bs insta kill moves, but as you improve at the game, those, WELL I'M DEAD AND CAN'T STOP IT moments disappear, because YOU get better, you learn patterns, you learn the area of effects, you learn about your targets.
The game is also SO much better with friends, but, some fights are easier alone due to monsters scaling HP in multiplayer
Also, the games controls are, MUCH better on a controller of any kind.

Darkest dungeon, overall is a fun and very challenging game, yes RNG has killed more than one or two of my heroes, but it PURELY being caused by RNG is untrue, (except for that one hero who died to 4 crits in a row from a group of spiders that ambushed me), the game is about the challenge, the misfortune (which tends to actually be bad decisions in my case), that one hero refusing healing because he thinks the walls are talking, its all part of the game, the whole health and stress mechanics, wonderful, its a realistic approach to what exactly would happen to adventurers dealing with eldritch threats, this game is truly a masterpiece, and is definitely worth a try, no matter what anyone says.
