From level 1 and emptying my whole machine gun magazine turning bugs into a fine green mist to level 25 and diving out of the way to avoid being immolated by a warhammer dreadnaught. This game keeps up the intensity and every mission feels like an action movie. With 9 difficulties you can always play at your comfort level, challenge yourself, or take it real easy.
The history this game has already had makes it a fine choice to add to your library. The developer has been trying to make the game they want to make, not a game everybody wants from them. I have great respect for this mentality and I really like their vision so far.
The story of the game is is a comical satire and I can't help reading any announcements in that dude's voice who stands by the galaxy map. There's plenty of videos out there explaining how we are the bad guys and quite frankly that is a thought crime and they should be dealt with accordingly. We're here to defend Super Earth and spread managed democracy and it is a roaring good time.

Have you ever done MILK? You have never felt the way you can feel when you've taken a sip of MILK. Chopping a tree down? Done. Chopping a mountain down? Done. Trudging through snow? Done. Only MILK can compare to the thrill of holding the bucket. The bucket is your love and your life. If your train catches on fire then you have clearly neglected the bucket and the bucket will neglect you back. Unfortunately the bucket does not carry MILK and the train doesn't drink MILK. I love the bucket and I really love MILK. I can stop drinking MILK anytime. I just don't want to.
