After having played over 500 hours on the game I can confidently say that it is more than worth what I bought it for in release. Everything about this game is a testament to how much effort the developers put into making this game as detailed and engaging as possible.

If you are a fan of the previous Civ games, it will take about one play through to get used to all the new additions, but I assure you, it all comes together naturally.

The gameplay is as smooth as Sean Bean's voice.
