Tbh, it's fun, you can do whatever you want to do and time flies faster than you are aware . The driving physics might not be the most realistic of all ( still really realistic ), but the crashing physics are by far the most realistic of any game atm and it's really fun . There are also lots of mods available if you get bored . Really, the possibilities with this game are endless, I recommend it

Honestly this game is not finished yet, bugs in campaign, bugs in multiplayer, and multiplayer is the most unfun experience ever, balance is non existant, too many races and no balance. Campaign feels repetitive.
You would have thought it is an improvement over the 1st game but it isn't, it's more of a sidegrade, some things are worse and some are better.
You should get this game only as a wh40k fan and do the campaign for the story, stay away from multiplayer for now

This is one of a kind game and there is nothing to replace it at the time of this review and probably a long time from now. The combat has an unique feel to it,you have unique classes each with their own flavor,there are different playstyles to suit everyone and it's the most true representation of the chaos that is war. (it will also make you tougher as a man/woman/apache helicopter/etc)
The fact that the game has no competition is sadly the only thing that kept it alive so far because the devs just don't care about the game and performance is in a steady decrease. The game despite being old can look amazing on maxed graphics but almost everyone that isn't a filthy casual will run full low settings because otherwise it is barely playable. Performance along with bad balance of the weapons has lost the game players because the dev team is sadly too small and struggles with funds but this does not excuse the terrible decisions they took so far like the CAI update that destroyed vehicle combat, ignoring cheaters for a long time (now there are barely any which is good) never testing any update properly before releasing it and many other things.
There have been good changes but a lot of bad ones, but still this game being unique, if you like it, you will be addicted to it especially if you are a good player, so despite any terrible update and complaints I still played and would have played the game untill the end if it wasn't for performance, at the time of writing this review the game has been unplayable for 2 months on a high end PC because of input lag, server latency, higher ping, fps drops and some crashes here and there.
It is a shame because there is nothing that can replace this game, the community is more mature than the one of other games (also depends on the server and certain people but most are good people) and the game is very complex despite the basic idea of killing in an FPS game and has a steep learning curve but that makes it fun for me.
I'd recommend the game to anyone and brought some people into it but the performance is unnacceptable, I understand that the game achieves what no other game achieves in terms of player numbers but it used to run well and 1 update completly destroyed performance and it hasn't been fixed in 2 months and who knows how much more time will pass before the game is playable again and another update will render the game unplayable for months again. Also people with low end rigs don't even bother to try the game,it won't be a pleasurable experience.
At this point it is a frustrating experience by being addicted to a dying game which is sad because this is game right here could have been one of the most popular games available, would have gladly given it a positive review for all the fun I had in the game but it's on a huge downward spiral for quite a long time now and I cannot recommend it seriously to anyone sadly.
