I am a big fan of roguelikes, and this one has been a ton of fun. It is difficult and rewarding, but not overbearingly punishing. With most roguelikes I have played, if you make a small mistake, or mess up a build, you can lose the run in one fell swoop. That sucks. This game has a system called morale which basically works like a lives system, mixed with a currency. It incentivizes good play, and builds a cushion so that when you get popped like a balloon, you wont lose the whole run. Events can give big payouts in exchange for morale, which gives that risk reward feeling, and makes me make a lot of interesting and interactive choices. The rest of the game feels like it had the same thought and care put into it. On top of that its super cheap! I'm glad that I gave this game a shot.
