From its initial launch in 2017 Destiny 2 has gone from one of the biggest disappointments to one of my favorite games in recent history. If you are someone who also hasn't played this game since launch I highly recommend giving this game a second chance especially considering that the game is free now and you can carry over your character from battle.net. With the Launch of Beyond Light introducing new subclasses and FINALLY starting the Darkness storyline it's the perfect time to jump back in. The game is not without its problems most of the loot from the first 3 years of the game has been "Sunset" meaning it has no real use outside of PVP and most of the content from the first 3 expansions is no longer available to play since it too has been "sunset" which is a perfectly understandable thing to get upset about but most of that content currently would have been obsolete at this point anyways. Despite this, the last 3 Expansions have been FANTASTIC and have brought amazing content story-wise and gameplay-wise. The new Season Pass model has also made the game feel more like an MMO with new story content, activities, and loot being added every month. I highly recommend playing this game if you have any love of shooters and have a couple of hours to kill
