yeah, that didn't really work, but that wasn't what I was upset about.
what pissed me off is that when I'd look something up, like with Google, the list came up with the dark background.
I found a setting for that on the Google page, so it's tolerable now.

okay i give up. do you know how to go back to the original color with firefox? I thought I found it but the colors it tells me I'm using are not the ones i'm using.
