Fantastic game, Democracy will be spread
Sony's been fought back...For now...But greedy corporations are can't help but ruin a good thing...

Your only issue is public games.
You'll get one of the two types of people:

People 1- Democratic heroes, who work together, who uphold justice and freedom and will help you spread democratic law through out the galaxy. True pillars of the community we should all strive to be. Even if the mission isn't successful, they give their lives for their brothers and sisters and will be remembered forever.

People 2- Undemocratic, illiterate traitors who will flee from the group first chance they get due to their stupidity and cowardice, these traitors will also blame their short comings and lack of intellect onto their fellow hell divers and commit acts of treason. These people are to be shot on sight, they are enemies to us all.

The signatures are left to the ancient voodoo spirits to decide if you have one or not

Other then all that...Pretty solid.

Yes, we all remember when this game started out, I thought I'd never personally buy it myself.

But damn did they really get to work making this a fun game. Would highly recommend

Probably the best soul successor to the Left 4 Dead series.A little repetitive with "Get here and defend this point", sure. But it always feels good after beating a wave of the infected back.Best play with friends...The bots can be very unhelpful.

If you want a game that'll have you in one of the following scenarios.
1 - Fighting ten billion screaming exploding guys for 45% of the game

2 - Fighting ten billion skeletons for 45% of the game

3- In a tomb fighting space-monkeys

4- fighting a varied cast of the enemies in the game for 10 seconds per level before the horde of skeletons or exploding guys.

5- Having a poorly if at all explained boss battle where you're meant to fight the boss and billions of enemies that keep spawning in.

Then this game is for you.

Spooky game, best with friends.
Lots of spooky ghosts and a fair bit of detective work.
Nice map variety, hopefully will add more, but we'll see.

My only downside, is I wish they'd fix the campground map. Even with beefy PC's you'll drop in FPS.

It's 100% a love letter to old Resident Evil. That's both a good and a bad thing.

I just wish the writing was a bit better.
Cut scenes are a little cringe, as well as some of the voice acting.
It's pretty bad at explaining what to do against the budget nemesis at the end.
As well as the hallway part where it's "Touch = die" that was annoying...In fact that WHOLE end fight.
The deadspace hallucinations could do without, especially the one that ends up in you getting face to face with one of those tanky enemies.

Apart from all those...Not bad.

I came for the memes
I stayed for the soundtrack, the parallels to modern day political landscape AND the memes.

Recommend 10/10
Fun game, even more fun with friends. Probably one of the better survival games I've played.
