I enjoyed my first play through, chasing down Z-class destroyers at night. Even if Exeter, Ajax and Achilles did not start the battle of the River Plate so close together historically, it was still satisfying to sink the Graf Spee.

It might not have the most recent graphics or bring in 'what if' ship vs. ship action like World of Warships, but it still looks good and plays well on the highest settings.

Sometimes you just need a game that doesn't take itself too seriously...

Pass a little time with some island-farming fun. This game offers relaxed puzzle-building and is simple to play.

This game is a gem, an inspiration. It is a joy to watch and I am in awe of the creativity that has gone into it.

You know the developers have it just right when a simple game to play looks amazing and keeps you hooked for hours.

This game feels unfinished and a bit clunky. The story has potential but is hampered by poor language translation.

There appears to be no option for sound, adding some background music would help give the game some ambience.

This game is fun, it had me laughing from the start as I haunted the train. I like the attention to detail, thought has gone into all the objects you can possess.

It looks and sounds great too, with a style that pops and a catchy soundtrack.

This is a beautifully conceived game. Love the original story and the medieval-mechanical concept. The illustration, animation and attention to detail are first rate.

The keyboard controls take a bit of getting used to, if you don't use a controller.

Funny story and original - first time I'd seen a ghost shark... Boo!

Achievements are easy to obtain, no slippery fish get away here.

Playing through all endings is quick and the game feels fresh.

Cute game, upbeat, love the artwork - it has something mid-century about it. Groovy!

Some puzzles are quite challenging but there is a helpful guide if you get stuck.

Hope to see more from this developer - achievements would be a nice addition.

I am a long-standing player of the Elder Scrolls series (and foremost a fan of the Dunmer). While I really enjoyed Oblivion and Skyrim, something was still missing for me compared to Morrowind - a game that felt exotic and unique among other fantasy RPG.

I am pleased to say that ESO has brought back some of that magic for me. At the time of writing I have spent nearly 100 hours exploring the mystical appeal of Vvardenfell and surrounding provinces, e.g. Deshaan.

What I like:
- You can play solo. Game-play feels a bit different to prior offerings, but is a compromise and I like that it has the multiplayer option too - joining player guilds can be fun.
- Crafting. Lots of opportunity for clothiers, blacksmiths, woodworkers, enchanters, alchemists, and provisioning (including cooks and fishermen).
- Quests are as engaging as I remember from prior games - I like that the story is building on the earlier lore of the Elder Scrolls setting.
- The game looks fantastic and offers a touch of nostalgia - a big win for me, seeing the lands I remember in high definition, meeting characters like Vivec and Almalexia again, seeing Mournhold and the Clockwork City of Sotha Sil, etc.
- Player homes and customisation - options are extensive and open the way for a lot of creativity, with furnishings, tattoos, dyeing clothes, etc.

What I am not so keen on:
- While the Crown Store offers a lot of options for customisation (and I like everything I have purchased in-game so far), it can quickly become expensive.
- There is an alternative, in that the game allows you to build up your collection over time, from quest rewards, treasure hunting, crafting, guild trading, etc. though this requires patience and might not suit all play-styles. It can take time to find what you are after (e.g. furniture patterns are random drops in crates, barrels, chests, etc.), or to collect enough gold in solo play to purchase from achievement merchants.
- If I am being picky, purchasing dye sets in the Crown Store for outfits does not unlock the pigments to use at a clothing station - that is pity, as I can see that might put some players off purchasing dye sets.

Horus heresy: Legions has kept me hooked for over 140 hours (at the time of writing this review).

I like the lore and that it remains challenging - even with some experience in deck-building and trying different factions, luck still plays a part and my win-lose ratio is often no better than 50%.

While it has in app purchases, I like that you can get quite far building decks with the free starting warlord and the daily crates that provide card drops.

The game mechanics also help you build your decks and try other factions over time - i.e. the more you play, the more crates, cards (and warlords), coins, gems and event tickets you can gain.

I have not seen much benefit from the veteran subscription so far but the event rewards are otherwise good, I like the achievements and have enjoyed founding a lodge with other players.
