I love this game.
This is the right way to revive a classic 2D franchise in modern times. Fast, stylish combat in the style of Street Fighter, fantastic boss battles, tight platforming, deep Metroidvania-style level design, and a mythological setting full of mystery — it all just works. It’s hardcore in all the right ways and feels like a true love letter to old-school gameplay with a modern twist.

Sure, some of the late-game platforming gets brutal — but that’s the charm. If you grew up with tough-as-nails games, this hits home in the best way possible.

Now the bad part? Ubisoft Connect.
It straight-up deleted my 40 hours of progress. Not because of the game, but because of some idiotic sync issue. That kind of thing kills the experience and shouldn't happen in 2025.

Still, even after that mess, I came back. Because the game is that good.
This is one of the best action-platformers I’ve played in years. Respect.
