There are vanishingly few games that have approached the degree of care in the design of Elden Ring. It is a staggering achievement in game development that can only be compared to other groundbreaking masterpieces like Baldur's gate 3. Even then, Elden Ring stands out among its peers as a truly unique experience with such a captivating world that one can hardly wait to invest hundreds of hours scouring every corner and turning over every stone just to discover the wonders FromSoft has prepared for us.

Anyone with an interest in video games owes it to themselves to play Elden Ring at least once.

Basically unplayable on launch. Pretty good now. Worth $20, not $60.
