Servers are terrible.

Very hard to match-make with anyone. If you get the game now, you will be playing it either alone or with friends you invite from your friends list.

The gameplay is fun and if it did not take multiple hours to get into the game it might be worth half the price I paid for the game.

Early Access Review
The pacing is faster than most defensive games. It forces a more aggressive and fast play-style for success. This is not necessarily a bad thing if you like games that up the pressure as a game goes on.

Unfortunately I was left with a feeling of being overwhelmed and a need to constantly micro the smallest fights in multiple locations at once. The main thing that holds this game back in my opinion is the building placements. The temporary fog of war that obscures land when a unit does not have vision there prevents building and forces you to divert a few troops to stare at where you want to build.

Some resource buildings are very picky about being placed in an exact spot to get a resource. This is very frustrating when you are busy fighting enemies and takes you out of the game.

The upgrades for the buildings are another place the game lacks fluidity. The need to demolish some buildings to build a superior version whereas other buildings have an upgrade button seems strange.

Overall I think the game needs some changes to building and perhaps a game mode that is not just survival to keep me interested. The premise is solid and I like the style and setting so hopefully the game gets some quality of life updates in time and becomes something I can recommend in the future.

A waste of money overall.

The good parts include:

-the story and the side missions that allow you to explore a dystopian futuristic world full of corrupt corporations and futuristic gangs. The story is okay and the immersion into the world can be great if you get past the missing features and bugs.

-The game looks gorgeous. This is partially reliant on having the best hardware available. Running the game on lower end systems with the DLSS feature and with raytracing turned off can still give amazing visuals but overall mid range set ups will have lower frame rates on any settings above low.

The bad:
-Bugs and glitches. This is by far one of the most buggy games I have ever played. It reminds me of the launch of No Mans Sky and fallout 76. The glitches are totally immersion and game breaking so I have stopped playing the game to wait for patches.

- The game is not finished. This game needed a lot more development time. As is stands today even if all the bugs were patches the game is missing so many features it is disappointing.

-There is very little character customisation after the initial character creation. It is a world where people can change robotic limbs and yet you are unable to have a haircut. You are constantly stuck wearing a mismatched hideous outfit if you want good armour stats.

-The wanted system is without a doubt the worst wanted system I have ever seen. The police just spawn on top of you and begin shooting and car chases just do not happen in this game.

-The gameplay is average at best. The guns can feel recoil heavy and the enemies are either bullet sponges or one shot one kill weaklings. The worst part of the combat in my opinion is the melee. First person melee feels clunky at the best of times but in cyberpunk using what is considered end game weapons such as a mantis blades or gorilla arm cybernetics is boring. The enemies take damage and then simply curl up on the spot to die. Ragdoll physics would make an improvement to the game however overall combat is lackluster.

-The immersion in the city is skin deep. The city looks pretty on a good GPU but there is very little you can actually interact with. Despite the city being massive with many places selling food and brothels on every street, your character can only interact with a handful of things in the entire game.

-The leveling is unrewarding. A slight increase to a percentage or a bigger number in a statistic is not very interesting. It amazes me that cyberpunk is so behind in so many features that they have already implemented perfectly in their previous game The Witcher 3. Getting an attribute or skill point to spend rarely unlocks any tangible benefit or ability.

Overall I would recommend waiting not just for bug fixes but also for massive overhaul to in game feature before buying this game. If all the Bugs were fixed the game would still be only average in my opinion perhaps slightly above average due to how pretty the game is and the novel setting. If the features I have mentioned above were overhauled then this game would be amazing but as is stands it is no where near the asking price.

Very pretty, a lot of realism. The only negative is how harsh the bounties can be, doing crime is almost not worth it if you kill people.

One of the best medieval combat games I have ever played. Some in game weapons may seem busted and over powered when you start playing, *rapier and spear/halberd. After getting more experience in game fighting these weapons it became a non- issue. One of my favourite things about this game is how silly it can be. The taunts, strange voices, war cries and laughter make the game fun even when losing. Little things such as icicles kills, pans and bear traps add to the overall chaos. Overall the game is worth the price and can give many hours of entertainment. As of this review there is regular updates and new content being prepared.
