Biased because I'm a huge RE fan, I'm currently working through completing every title available on steam.

RE: Village feels like a proper sequel to RE7 and is a perfect tone shift / expansion on the RE lore in the game's current times. So far this title deserves all the love it can get from me: great soundtrack, characters, monster design, plot, graphics, etc.

I highly recommend if you are interested in the story and scares. The hardest difficulty isn't bad, but if you're a perfect run-through kind of person, it will be challenging.

TLDR: Yep, buy it, doesn't need to be on sale for me, but it usually is.
