After looking for a decent modern FPS game and seeing all the positive reviews the game had, I decided to buy it and see for myself. First off, the combat feels unique and satisfying as it allows you to perform melee attacks, block, and deflect projectiles instead of just using your firearms and hiding behind cover, which I think is something that hasn't been done that often, if at all in an FPS. The number of buttons you have to press can be confusing at first but once you get the hang of it then it can be really satisfying to play. I just started getting the hang of it when the game abruptly ended.

That's right, I finished it after 2 and a half hours, and probably could have completed it in less if I didn't tinker with controls and graphics settings. I found myself regretting my purchase and decided to appeal for my first ever refund on Steam, which they thankfully still accepted. It feels a bit bad to ask for a refund since this is developed by pretty much a single person, but if you're a value-for-money guy like me then you'll start considering a refund pretty quickly. And the fact remains that there are games out there that give you more hours of gameplay for less money. The time it takes to finish the game is so short that I didn't even have time to try on all of the DLC skins or to try out all the skills from the skill tree.

Don't get me wrong, the game is great, but there just isn't enough of it.

TL;DR - The game shows real promise and If you really want to support the dev(s) then it might be worth buying, but if you're not that kind of guy then you should wait for a sale.
