Wowwe wowwe wow. Think Tarkov mixed with wolfenstein, set in space. BUT! The pacing is actually good! You don't have to spend 45 minutes gearing up only to get only to get fragged in spawn by some sweaty greasy troglodyte that does nothing but play Tarkov 8 hours a day. The game is still in its infancy but has incredible potential.
Also i think with all these Tarkov like Loot/Raid shooter based games coming out its time we make an official genre. I'm thinking Kov-like. What do you think?

The only good game to come out of this recent wave of games and its free?! wow. COD and BF2024 were colossal failures. Who would have thought it would be Halo to save the day. Hats off to the devs! Im even buying the battle pass just out of sheer support of doing the impossible in 2021; making a playable and fun game. I look forward to the future content. keep it up!

Update 03/14/2023:
Well never mind. Its official, 343 industries has to be one of the worst development companies ever. Nothing got done. I regret buying the battle pass. Too little to late. The game is practically dead now. How you can take the most successful franchises in gaming history and make it a ghost town in less then 2 years is truly unfathomable.

By-far the best game Frictional has ever made, possibly one of the best games ever created, & personally one of my all favorite games. Can't express how much this game means to me. Its more of an experience really. More like A good book that sucks you in so deeply the rest of the world fades away. This game actually has something important to say. Something to tell you. Something you need to think about.

This game will quite honestly destroy your life. When you finally stop playing you'll realize that you no longer are employed, your significant other is no where to be found, and you lost 60 pounds. I was able to stop myself at 200 hours. I consider my self one of the lucky ones. I have a deep love for this game but i cant bring myself to hit that play button cause i know it'll suck me back in, destroy my sleep schedule, and make it impossible to sleep anyway cause of the severe tetris effect this game causes. It WILL effect your life. You will suffer. You have been be warned. If you have a happy 'IRL' just don't do it. Look away now. please... please...

Probably one of the best and challenging RTSs of all time. You will laugh. You will cry. You will ask the age old question "why are we here? just to suffer?". But mostly you'll just cry.
Maybe you'll play the campaign or maybe just verse bots for countless hours till you are able to beat a hard bot 1v1 just by the skin of your teeth. Finally all your pain and suffering has been worth it! you are victorious. Congrats! You have finally gotten gud! You celebrate your new found confidence by finally hoping on to online for some PVP action. Only to have that very confidence smashed into atoms no, quarks. You find yourself to have been dispatched hastefully and without effort. You realize that all your pain and suffering was for nothing. All that time, thinking you were getting better little by little. All your growth was just the equivalent of you standing atop a chair and being that much closer to space, negligible. You think maybe you'll have a better chance if you join a team, only then to find out your team as become hostile. Your massive lack of skill has still cost you the game & caused your team to be come angry and toxic. They will call you names. Berate your skills or lack there of and drop from the game only to leave you surrounded by your bot teammates; but the cherry on top? Those very bots are still better then you.
GET GOOD YOU FILTHY NOOB.

Tbh, nothing special. It's very Arcade-ie
the horde mode is like the most basic and generic horde mode you can think of.(hopefully will be improved)
Graphics are meh.
All events are scripted and predictable. No random events or hordes.
The audio isn't great it's really flat. Now normally that's a good thing but it's like really dull I guess? It's the like everything is the same volume. The guns don't sound punchy, and by extension don't feel as much too. Everything just blends together and ends up sounding muddy and recessed. The only thing that's super loud is when you kill a "boss", like they just lazily cranked up the gain on the one audio track, like its 2001.
I'd say the sound design is the most disappointing thing about the game.
Here is the real kicker though. you get 4 missions. 4! 4 missions, 3 parts each. finished the game in what? 10 hours? The amount of content you get is abysmal & they have the chutzpah to charge for dlc to give you 3 additional missions. 3! No wonder why this game failed completely.
