Democracy has one again proven victorious, so I can now in good faith recommend hell-divers 2.

The game is incredibly fun especially with friends, and while it has its issues, by and large it is functional and blows some modern AAA titles out of the water.

Rimworld, is a game about stories. Every time you drop down onto that damned planet you never know what will happen. Be it a grand struggle or spectacular failure, it is a story, and that story is beautiful to see unfold. That is why Rimworld is so enjoyable for me. I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants a good colony simulator that has equal parts baited breath and relaxed growth.

Modding is probably one of my favorite parts of Rimworld, from the infamous VOID faction to the beautifully made vanilla expanded mods. There is an immense amount of content you can add through modding that no matter how many times you have "completed" rimworld, there will always be more to explore, or a new thing to do.
