Somehow the focus trees are worse than vanilla. Only get if you need some of the command features for mods.

Game doesn't explain stuff, what is explained is in broken english; so its a regular Kremlingames game. Pretty thin on info right now, Does seem more complex than crisis in the kremlin but doesn't have a really helpful UI like the democracy series. I think it will improve and there certainly seems like there's content here but its rough so be warned.

Got it cheap on a reselling site after the update that added NPCs. Played it for over 150 hours, even buying the fallout first for a couple months. I didn't complete the main boss fight but solo seemed hard and I didn't have a crew. But I felt that I got all out of what story there was. A shame because a lot of it felt more grounded and real than 4, even 3.

The resource management seemed keen on making you hoard like fo4 did but with the weight restrictions unless you had a team or paid for first made it unfun to deal with. Game looked better than base 4 but ran worse than modded with ENB. The delay between shooting and hitting made it feel disconnected. Unless they add modding or some other revolutionary feature/ rebalance I have no intentions of ever coming back.

Pretty fun, got it on sale.

If you like the Far Cry gameplay loop you'll like this one. However, I think Far Cry 4 is my favorite.

DLC spam isn't as bad as it was and the game is actually complete on its own. Still getting patches and now we have mod support. Not ideal since its not on the workshop, still better than nothing like the previous games.
