This game is as much an hommage to the Fromsoft games as a chinese Rolex is an hommage to Swizerland. It's pretty decent though.

Pretty good game very much in the spirit of the good predecessors.

Seems good, different enough to AOW3 to be worth the price of admission. Not sure about the "premium" edition, that batch DLC is usually a scummy thing for me but hey, I haven't been disappointed by this dev/publisher yet so I give it a chance. Only gripe with the base game is the non customizable map size, this is generated automatically with player count/distance options. So no more huge wastelands with just monsters to kill and eventually a boxed in AI :)

This is a weird one, although miniscule in filesize it is suprisingly detailed and complex. I am not disappointed but don't know very much after only 6 hours played either. Seems promising though.

20 hrs review: This is a fun game! I played it alone at first, then with a friend as host, great fun, combat is okay but not the main focus. A viking themed Minecraft.

(first impression) So far it's pretty "meh", the first 35 hours are definitly not "fun" if you start playing on normal difficulty. I'll put in more time and change my review accordingly, if it gets better down the road.

Allright, I still have a hard time recommending it, due to it being super annoying for the first 50 hours or so, but it gets better once you "get" it.

A mixture of city builder, disaster simulator, oregon trail and tower defense game. Worth the money, hilarious and playable in this early state, some bug present but not gamebreaking (yet). Will definitly suprise you with it's unintentional dark humor, that's if you fancy the streets littered with corpses and random guys showing up asking if they could join the party.

A really fun game for a fair price. No reason not to buy this, if you like city builders.

Edit: So after a hundred hours I gotta say a city builder well done! So many options, so many production chains, so many choices. It's really great, get this!

This is a fun game for a really great price.

The art and music is good and the gameplay loop is satisfying. A single game can be finished in about 15 minutes, but the progression system with skilltree gives some long term incentives. No technical issues yet.

Really, can't complain for that price.

Edit: Many hours later I am just flabbergasted. How From made this game in a few years is beyond me. The technical achievement aside, the art is fantastic, the combat is crisp and fluid. Many new mechanics open the souls world for new users, without dumbing the game down for the veterans. Everything was made right. My first gaming console was a Vecrex, so I think I know what I am talking about when I say there hasn't been a game like this in decades, if ever. The AAA industry has been shamed by Fromsoft, whatever shame was left. Ah speaking of, Elden RIng has no microtransactions, nuff said.

It's not as bad as it's reputation, pretty good actually. Also multiplayer works pretty well and the signs show up almost instantly. Totally worth it while you are waiting for the release of Elden Ring.
