In Soviet Russia, the game plays YOU. And this is not a joke.
To play or not to play Pathologic is depend on your attitude to the games. If you want a light snack with hyper-modern graphic - then come along, it's not your choice. But if you're looking for a something different than 99% of games - try it. This game became a legend in Russia, it have a wide community of fans. A dismal story of a small steppe town, striked by the unknown disease, that told by a three different points of view. And when I say "different", I mean exactly what I said - different in most high, metaphysical point. The game is very unwelcome, but once you delve into it, you can't exit. Or should I say - you cannot escape?

One of the cutiest games I've ever seen. The journey in the culture of Iñupiats was very interesting. And my wife love this arctic fox ^_^
Just one minus is that game is too short, even with add-on. But it worth its money.

Kinda sorta me playing 1st hour: "Hmmm... this game wlii not survive on my PC for long. Graphics is awkward, units are way too limited, and all game is a copy of a Civilization 5"...
... and after 50 hours: "Mwahahaha! Bow before countless armies of the Cultists, for the Eternal End is nigh!"

Wonderful, addictive game with an infinite replayability and great potential. Fully destructible world and great crafting system. Best survival game I'd ever saw. What is especially pleasant is that developers really work on it - it becomes better with an every renewal.

I don't want to say that the game is bad, boring or something. Civilization 5 is a good, interesting and addictive game. I just want to say that it's wrong to treat gamers as a fools and sell texturepack "Civilization 5 in space" as a new game.

This simple game became classic of horror. Because human can be most terrified not by monsters, but by feeling of helplessness.

There's two kinds of those who write the reviews on Rome II - those who played original Rome and those who didn't. For those who didn't played it is a good, epic strategy. For those who played - it is a strange (not to say ugly) bastard of Rome and Warcraft.
Endless bugs, absence of the family tree, taking cities without siege weapons, buttons that magically replenish energy, drunken brawl instead of clever tactics - there's much said about all of this, no need to repeat. All this rage is not about bugs, it's about game mechanics, that became RTS in a bad meaning of the term.
Particular word about music - it is... wait, is there music already? I'm don't remember. I remember Jeff van Duke's soundtrack in Rome till now, but soundtrack in Rome II - it's a pitiful attempt to depict something epic.
Little secret - Rome II Emperor Edition - it is, in fact, final release of the game. First release was alpha, that was released without disclaimer that it is an early access. But whatever, the game is a fail. 6/10, and only for merits of the previous games (excluding Empire, that was also fail).
Summary - I was foolish enough to preorder this. In future, I'll buy CA products on 80% sale... maybe.
P.S. Wait... CA is developing Alien Isolation? Well, gentlemen, it's the end of the Total War series.
P.P.S. After some time, I decided to give this game another chance. 10 years after release. And, after 10 hours or so, it crashes and still crashed after reload. This game is a misery.
