its alright

Played 3 matches, an hour and 10 muintes, didnt notice the time go by, time goes by when your having fun.

Right if you read any reviews talking about multiplayer let me just tell you to ignore them for now, Multiplayer used to be on the visual roadmap but now it isnt anymore, people started shouting from the rooftops about how big a scan this is "people donated with patreon for multiplayer not for a single player town sim!" well if you read on the offical website about multiplayer they talk about how they have pushed back multi-player to the end because of a very good reason. Would you rather have multiplayer with nothing to do or would you like it when the game has more features and is more devolped?

anyway on to the up sides and the downsides



Upsides:


- A active dev team

- The roadmap

- custom buildings (which they are going to improve)

- Mod surport and advertisement on the halloween mod when its halloween



Down sides :


- The AI can be dumb sometimes

- bugs

- unable to prioritize tasks

- the amount of people needed to farm

- No leveling system with workers or a high worker class

- No way to level people other than doing their job (building 100 stone tables shouldnt be the only way)

- The way to get increased inventory is counter intuitive , have more villgers but that reqiures food at wealth, your unable to get more food because inv is at max, food starts to drindle because of this.

- Building in caves is a nightmare

- The flute is imposible with the sand people

- Water is just for looks, you can build under water houses and have no downsides


I know theres alot of downsides listed but if I dont point out flaws then how is the game going to get better?

As I do agree withsome of the reviews, the reviews fail to tell you about the custom items that people have made for the game. They shouldent be depended on people makeing items but your asking a small team of around 3 or 4 people to keep the game up? otherwise yes this game is short but if you want to make it masive do so, and if you want to be lazy with putin shorts thats your own problem.
