Just a great game. This is pure nostalgia for me, this was the first and best thing I ever bought from a school book fair. It's amazing how such an old game works so well, but I guess that's what happens when you make a game with assembly code. Chris Sawyer is an amazing developer and this is an amazing game.

Early Access Review
This is probably one of the best in-development games out there. I've owned From the Depths for a while now and I can say with certainty, this is one of the best creative building games on Steam. I will admit that the controles are a bit obscure (maybe an understatement) and the UI requires some getting used to. However it dose some thing right that I wish other games had in them. Rotating blocks is very easy and well done, especially when compared to Starmade, and building with a grid centered on the block instead of using a free cam and the mouse, like RoboCraft, is so much smoother. I absolutly love the free cam view you can have just for flying around and looking at the gigantic ships you can build. I can't say much about the campaign, I've never gotten past the Deep Water Guard, but all the ships, airplanes, submarines, airships, forts, satillites, and tanks are all designed by people who play the game. I ejnoy From the Depths as a creative vechical designer just to make the crazy things my mind comes up with but there is quite a bit more to it than just a vechical designer, there are campaigns, story missions, other worlds with differnt campaigns, so much and I truly love it. I could still probably add a couple hundred more hours onto my current play time and still not be bored of it. Amazing

This is probably one of my favorite games on Steam, getting a group of good friends together and playing a game together is a great way to make funny memories, expesially when one of those friends ends up with all the uranium on the map and then holds us hostage with his nukes.
