Another victory for the right side of history.

This game allows me to make the most unhinged comments possible and when people in the discord call freak out I just explain it's in Rimworld that I'm committing these Geneva Convention violations.

Finally, another Dragon Ball game that's not just two super powers fighting. Well, that happens sometimes but that's not the main draw of Dead by Dragonball. And as much as I love this concept, as much of a clone it is with it's simple formulaic design, it has a ton of problems. It has a gacha mechanic locking many premium skills behind either hundreds of hours of play (see me, still constantly pulling every time I can scrounge enough currency for a single pull in hopes of getting Sprint or Slide). Therein lies the biggest, brightest issue with the game: skills that determine the match are hard to get and once you get them, you need to spend the pity currency just to make it available to you at all times.

Despite those issues, I can't think of a better thing to do after a day of work but to break some balls with the boys, teaming up together to murder Spopovitch or kick larval Cell. It's a unique joy made better with friends that I can tentatively suggest. I only hope changes are made to this game, like being able to queue with my friends to kill them as Raider again in normal queues, but in all I am in love and can't stop playing it every day.

EDIT: I no longer can recommend this game, come season 5. I love the format, but the gacha's insufferable rates, the immense power creep, the roving bands of premade survivor groups making raider unplayable, and the ranked system preventing me from playing with my friends has drained what little steam I could have left for this game. I want to try and trust it for a little longer, but I'm losing what little energy I had left fast.

This would be a great game if you could separate PvP and PvE. I'm just here to vibe with my friends. Not get spawncamped by some sweatlord with 1000+ hours in the game that knows every last trick in the game and uses them just to call you slurs in voice chat.

This is my favorite VR game. Get it if you have VR, it is one of the games that makes it worth it, if you ask me.

This is what an early access game should be like. It's simple yet has so much complexity and uniqueness to every run, it's a mix of Hearthstone and rougelikes that creates something I really hadn't expected to work out, but it just works.

In spite of everyone's complaints and whining here, an anti-cheat is being added into the game with the next update, the game is very fun to play, especially with friends, and Bluehole has not given up on the server. More and more work will be done.

A good game.

Just not a good Fallout game.
