_nt suffix stands for Nasty Tang, a player who collaborated with me on some of the content. What you use is up to you. The only difference Is mine is up-to-date with crusade and retribution and my version has retribution ship set style separately available to sub to and play.

@Airmaster, hey buddy been searching through all your comments and stuff looking for the answer without any luck...so I have to ask: what does the "_nt" suffix mean? In some of your faction collections you have this extra copy of the civ with that suffix. Should I be using the _nt version, the non-_nt version or maybe both? Enjoying your work BTW!

hey buddy i love your Star trek ships but how do you change the size of some of the hulls? i love the NX model but i think it should be a small class and not tiny, couldnt see where you can change the hull size in the ship editor.

bruneauinfo Just subscribe and download them, that is all there is to it, Be sure to sync mods when you open game to play them so everything you subbed to shows up.

Thanks, I am no modder and just wanted to know how to make use of other designs for my own use. I appreciate that using yours or anyone's else work and creating a mod on workshop etc. amounts to breach of copyright

When you create a civ click on the Fleets tab, if ships are saved as templates you can swap them out to make your own ship set. However do not upload my ship designs or a ship set made from my ship designs to your own Steam workshop without my permission or consent. Doing so is a breach of the Steam Subscriber Agreement. I will have it taken down.

H, really great mod and really add to the game. However, I am relatively new to the game and having a bit of problem about how exactly I make use of your ship designs. I get it with your star trek collection that each faction has a set of ship designs. But if I want to create my own civilization how do i add particular ship designs to my civ? It doesn't seem very intuitive.

The Federation play style is probably the easiest way to win this game. Get a race with a ++ to Diplomacy then ally with everyone and crush usually the lone holdout. Trading is very profitable in this situation. Not so much fun if you like fighting. :)

Basically do yo have any idea's for a playstyle that would bring alive the Startrek experience? An example I may present would be,avoiding conflict as a general rule even giving up resources on occasion,or perhaps doing alot of trading(which i admit I often skip this aspect of the game)?I would love your input but as I know your busy I'll understand if you can't respond.

Hey,I just want to say great job on your mods.All your designs are flawless as I can see and they are all done so well.Not just the overall presentation but the lore,messages,racial responses,everything really.I hope you continue to improve and/or add to it as well and I wish you the best in it.Praises aside,I also came to ask your opinion on something.As good as your mod is I am missing a key detail and I thought you may have an answer.How best would one go about roleplaying as say,starfleet command or some such.I admit to loving the startrek series especially TNG which is my favorite.But I would love your input on howe to inrich your experiences with the why's.how to's and whatnot in playing as the faction

I think you hit an old bug and you will need to report it with screenshots. The only workaround to to keep all parts under 100 scale. Any parts scaled larger will blow it out proportion on the map. Keep all parts under 100 scale.

Well, I finally finish my Federation Style starbases. I based them on Station K-7 & Earth Spacedock. Unfortunely they're way too big on galactic map! Is there way too shrink them down? Or I'm gonna have to go over each one and downsize them....

Hello,I just wanted to let you know I subscribed to your whole Star Trek collection and the mod works well and it's really good.I especially like how balanced you made different races.None have any kind of technological advantages.Or I mean they all seem to have clever +1.It's really enjoyable to play for more than just reminiscing a great series.

On Main Screen at bottom click on re-sync mods button.

I have your ships subscribed and it seems the workshop downloaded them but i do not have access to them in the ship designer under downloads, its empty. Please advise as there does not seem to be much in the way of support for this feature.

I did notice i made my new version after the last GC3 update. Wonder if it change things a bit for creating ships...

Greeting. Finally publicly open my 1st serious civilization. Even shown off my ships on Trekyards Facebook. Have positive reviews & a lot of Trekkies is looking into GC3 games! I was making a new science vessel to replace my old one. Was trying to make it bigger but for some reason the new ship is actually smaller than the original one! Both are the "tiny" hull and similar in appearance but I fail to understand why one is smaller than the other. Was hoping you might know why.

Well I finish my rough draft version of my Federation. Ships look good & all has backstory to it. But when I put it on the fleet selection on new civilization creation. No backstory is shown??? Did I waste my time? You can see it on the Workshop list but not in the game. Why?

belthize, I recommend that you wait on the Kzinti at this time, If you don't own Crusade it will not play right for you. I also have plans to update the ship set style for play with Retribution which will convert one the older one I uploaded to workshop.

I don't actually own GalCIV III, I played 1 and 2 but I was looking at the the workshop for GC3 and saw your Kzinti race and wanted to say that's pretty cool. 30+ years ago I played an online text game called "Galactic Bloodshed" which was a precursor to more modern 4x games. https://gamesoffame.wordpress.com/galactic-bloodshed/ I always played Kzinti when I played.

So I may buy GalCiv III just to grab your mod and give it a spin.

Your new to using workshop. All the new players piss me off when they don't bother to read the steam subscribrr agreement regarding user generated content. Trust me you are not the first and won't be the last, LOL

All images must be in PNG file format or they will not show up.

Just a few tips of advice. Get a freeware photo editor like Gimp or Picasa. Background and foreground images need to be in native resolution of your screen size. Leader images and citizen portraits need to be 128x128 pixels in size. You need to learn how to edit your own images.

My creation wasnt suppose to be public. Forgot to click the private/friends mode. Anyway I do want to put my own pics from ST online of my characters onto CG3.
