A nice game to play in spare time. Needs a lot of polishing, I've expected something more before the release, to be honest,.But there are some points which makes it a game worth playing:

*Loads of character's modifiers; not a single playthrough will be the same as previous one,
*New enemy type brought to You on every level, making the diversity plentiful,
*Gadgets helping you either as Utility or Combat Items (offensive or defensive), both having strong impact on the run,
*Random challenges during the run, bringing in higher reward, with a higher risk. It's Your choice to pick the gauntlet up,
*Optimal and fun Enemy Spawn System,
*Tactical gameplay early on, more and more action on consecutive levels,
*Variety of weapons to choose from: skill- demanding, spammable chaotic or even dangerous to operate,
*Killing in melee while shooting multiple enemies at once feels very satisfying; Many ways of getting more melee- oriented gameplay available,
*Some builds are more viable against bosses, while other helps You clear regular levels- balance the modifiers wisely!
*It's Your choice to play slower or more dynamically- You can exit the level earlier, or clear the whole floor for maximum rewards;

I enjoyed SotS: The Pit. But this is even better! RPG rougelike as a First Person Shooter, great combination.
Looks like a hundreds hours of playtime in the future for me. Mechanics are perfect, those from old SotS and those new as well.
Both DLC characters are fun to play, and I'm still hoping for some new ones.

Early Access Review
Do not be deceived by minimalistic graphics! The game is complex and replayable!
Totally worth the full price, maybe even more. And the Dev promises even more content in the near future!

Edit: Newly Cinder System adds even much more replayability and new challenges! Game fully recommended by me!

Fun game, albeit lacks content.
Worth the full price, if You're looking for a cofeebreak arcade style roguelike (-lite?).

Mechanics are simple (but not the simplest) and work liike a charm, the resources menagement between each map is fabulous, reward system for each floor is fine. Bosses seems fresh, and scales well with the danger level, gives you a touch of surprise on each consecutive danger level (each time you defeat one, maxing in the certain number).

Item (implants) variety is much fun to combine with, which is nice.
The weapons on the other hand- there are lot of them to test, but some of them feel noticable stronger than the other. The tier list would be trivial to create after testing all of them at least once.

Difficulty level is somehow low, I've picked the third(challenge) on my first run, and stuck to it till now, I presume the lower two are for players fresh to the genre.

All in all, the game is worth the recommendation, but don't expect replayability after defeating the final boss for the first time.

The game saying all the time sequels are bad.
This particular sequel was bad as well.
100% recommended.

Bought this game while searching for a game to play with only one arm.
The beginning was charming, both graphics and controls. After a few runs You are able to gather enough knowledge about mechanics to beat this game. But then, the real fun begins. After beating your first run with one class, there still are 17 classes to try out. Some of them got different starting stats, but other got skills to alter Your whole run. For each class You determinate if You want play mainly as human or vampire, all up to You.
So far, I've played only Normal difficulty, haven't tried lower or higher, and I still feel I've got dozens of dozens hours to take pleasure of it.

PROS:
*Easy, intuitive controls, need only one hand to play;
*Deep spells and potions mechanics, makes each run unique;
*Unvolgiving but fair difficulty mode (Normal);
*Game not easy to master, but mastering each boss(/branch) is highly rewarding;
*Altering from human to vampire and vice-versa is dynamic, makes You think about tactics on different bosses/ branches;

CONS:
*A few of the classes feels very similar to each other, would like to see more classes like Ice Mage (with less randomness of spells);
*Currently, there is one spell (U****) much stronger than others . Would be glad to see this spell reworked or removed totally.

EDIT:
After beating 50% of the classes on Normal mode, game started to feel mundane. Then I tried higher difficulty and, man, it's like learning the game anew. Didn't expect that much replay value, seems like there's like a few dozens hours more of playing for me!

*Unforgiving Rogue-like gameplay
*Interesting, wide-ranged character build customisation throughout a match
*Tons of different enemies with their own mechanics and weaknesses
*Randomly generated levels feels really well-done, especially numerous variations of spacious rooms filled with nasty aliens
*Ambient sounds, gloomy lights and other athmosferic effects perfectly weaved in game mechanics
*Personally, feels like there is infinite number of different items (weapons, alien tech etc.), each run I see one I've never seen before
*Active developer patching flaws continuously
*Massive replayability value

Totally worth the full price!
