Yes, it's very much an early access game. BUT I find it enjoyable and can't wait to see the progress.

The game is still not ready. Early access at best. (35 hours in)
Came back and it is getting better, still not there, though.

Update 2: We are over a year later after the release (not early access, but full release) and the game is still not even feature complete... What else is there to say.
