How can a company go from producing its masterpiece, TWWH2, including years of continuous support and new content, to producing such a crap fest? Did CA just forget everything they learned over the last 5 years? The realms of chaos campaign is awful. We don't even need mortal empires (although I won't play the game until it's here). All this needed to be good was a way to play the campaign without this stupid race against the AI (which cheats btw) that distracts from everything else in the campaign and ruins the replayability. I hope you enjoy visiting the same 4 zones over and over again in a hectic dash to beat the ai to the demon souls in every single campaign regardless of who you're playing. And it better not be a faction with a hard start position like the undivided demons because you can't afford to send your lord away the first few times the rifts open, leaving you with no chance in the race. It's just a really poorly designed core game mechanic that without a drastic change ruins the game. Oh and the siege rework, ironically, has made minor settlement battles really good, but actual sieges kind of suck, the ai clearly doesn't know what to do. Diplomacy rework is nice though.

The best game I've ever played. All other RTS games are piles of excrement in comparison to this masterpiece.

Enjoy getting kicked from every 3rd match due to connection issues and never having a 5v5 game because Ubi decided to jerk themselves off with all the money from skins instead of reinvesting it back into making the servers not trash. Also please buff the super 90 back into sniper 90. 0/10 would play for another 200 hours.

I love the multiplayer, I really enjoyed playing in the beta (30 hours) but god help any poor ♥♥♥♥♥♥ trying to work out the singleplayer campaigns.

I come from the wargame series having missed SD 44, so I have a familiarity with the general themes of Eugen singleplayer, but even then I'm still floundering. For someone completely new to Eugen I can only imagine the confusion. This review will become positive when Eugen does what any game developer with a lick of sense should do and include a damn tutorial.

All the weapons are near zombies, but you dont start with a weapon, so there is no real way to kill the zombies.

If I compiled a list of my top ten games, this would be number one.

It is either the best or the most annoying game i have ever played. i just dont know which.
