An incredible example of what a passionate studio with an intimate knowledge of both a ttrpg's lore and mechanics can really do if given the chance.

Each of the NPCs have a story, spanning from a tiefling huntress that wants you to go away, to a struggling blacksmith still recovering from the events of "Decent into Avernus", an actual 5th edition module that takes place right before the game.

Nothing is boring, there's no glaring fetch or tail quests to pad the run time that are so common to find in modern open world games. Within these quests your choices and rolls matter and can completely change the way your current objective (chosen by yourself of course) end up playing out.

The only downside is the criminal 4 party member restriction, meaning if you make your own PC you may only take 3 others with you at a time. I'm leaving compelling companions behind either because I'm interested in the 3 I already grabbed's stories or because I need that b**** Shadowheart as a healer. Even if the party size was brought up to 5, a number a bit more common for d&d parties, this problem wouldn't exist just as much.

TLDR; It's been 24 hours of playing upon posting this, I haven't even left the first area (Out of choice, there's that much content), and I've been having a blast the whole time. Great characters, even greater quests, it's just playing D&D in the best way.

The Dawn of War franchise is one of my favorite RTS games next to Empire at War. Thisis absolutly astounding game and I recomend purchase. It would be awsome if you could add a steam workshop for this game.
