Iron Harvest is an amazing proof of concept that there's still a hunger for unique RTS games. The world and focus on primitive mechs is a unique style not seen in any other game that immediately comes to mind. However, compared to juggernauts like Company of Heroes 2 and Starcraft 3, Iron Harvest lacks a depth of mechanics as well as mod support which makes those genre defining titles so integral to the RTS community.

I have hope for this franchise though. After an overall commercial success with Iron Harvest, I see a sequel in the future that, if handled well and builds on the lessons learned here, will live up to the hype.

And I for one am craving more from KING Art and this franchise.

It's a pretty decent card game that you can sink allot of time into for free. Technically there is PTW but you could also grind your way there. It's free, no harm in trying it.

Great Game, Go Buy

For being free it's not bad.

Absolutely fantastic game. This game has everything a great strategy game needs and the nostalgic effect of Mount and Blade for me. Only thing that would make this game go from a 9.5 to a ten in my book is if they created a DLC/FLC that let's you start the game as a Necromancer/Orc/Noble. Obviously the game just came out of Early Access as of now 3/27/2017 so i'm not expecting something soon. I would much rather have the developers take a nice long time developing a way to run an Orc warband or a Necromancer's undead army.

Anyway, Great Game 9.5/10
Give us some good DLC and maybe modding support and this game is a 10/10.
