This was great. I was close to refunding it at the 2h mark, as everything seemed so close to Slay the Spire, which I'm not a big fan of. StS is amazingly designed, I just can't get myself to play it as there's not much of a narrative going on. Luckily, I beat act 1 fairly quickly, after which the game really started showing how original it was, and I enjoyed it a great deal. Very much recommended. If you don't like StS, there's still a chance you might like this if you can make it past act 1.

I really wish the genetics would follow a simple Mendelian version of the haplo-diploid genetic system of bees. Unfortunately, the genetic system is made up, and as such is actually more confusing to me.

Phenomenal game. I'm not even into turn based strategy games, nor into Marvel, but this game was great. It's a bit of a mix between a turn based strategy game with lots of environmental effects and Persona 5 (lots of relationships to build up, which in turn give you more abilities to work with). Loved the cinematic style of battles, where you could really feel the impact of each and every ability.

Probably in my top 5 games I've ever played!

Is it addictive? Yes
Is it good? I don't think it is.

I enjoyed the previous Logistical games. They were interesting, relaxed and looked nice. I bought this one expecting the same, and I put quite some hours into it the first week and unlocked New Zealand, Australia, South and North Korea, Japan, Germany and the USA. However, I fairly quickly lost my will to play. I'll try to break down why:

- The game has some interesting puzzles, but unfortunately they are extremely overshadowed by the amount of busywork in the game. The amount of towns that only need a little bit of one good to complete is really high. So you're basically just sending your trucks around to fill up those places.
- This leads to the second problem: it's not really fulfilling. In the previous one, you could really see yourself progressing. However, here, due to the amount of busywork I found it hard to see much progress. Sometimes I came across a fun puzzle in how to unlock a certain good or route, but those were minor in comparison to again...the amount of busywork.
- In Logistical 2, the graphics were much more pleasing, and also more fulfilling. The entire map consisted of little white towns and buildings, and as soon as you completed a town, it would be coloured in. So slowly but steadily you would be 'colouring in' the entire map. Here everything has been changed to green, brown and yellow dots, so the feeling of progress by colouring in the map is greatly reduced.

I don't know, this game has obviously cost a crazy amount of work to develop, and it is really addictive. However, like many addictions, I was asking myself after a while: 'why am I doing this if I'm not really having fun?'. So all in all I wouldn't say it's a bad game, but I also wouldn't say it's good (nor as good as the previous installments). Bigger is not always better.

Promising project, but some awkward design decisions prevent me from recommending this in its current state. For full review, see: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5RZlwNWwDhM

Pros:
- Great, cohesive artstyle
- Interesting premise
- Nice background music
- Interesting synergies between robots, enhanced by choices of skills for each individual robot

Cons:
- Too much reliance on buffs/debuffs. It's not uncommon to have 10+ buffs/debuffs added to your characters, making it easy to lose sight of what's happening.
- 6 enemies in a fight can increase the chaos. Your character might be fine one moment and dead the next, because suddenly many enemies in a row decided to attack that one.
- Very uninspired trap system. You enter a room, a trap springs, you get damage. You can't do anything about these things.
- Boring map design. No way to avoid dangers (with rare exceptions).
- Not a roguelike at all, despite being advertised as such (unless you consider a game like Diablo3 on hardmode a roguelike?)
- Enemies level with you. This means that if you cannot beat a level, you basically are stuck, because if you grind, the enemies will become stronger as well. You could argue that you should just restart the game (like in roguelikes sometimes) and try again, however, the game is too slow paced and not interesting enough for me to do that. I want to follow the story and do the campaign missions in order, not redo them every time. This game just does not fit that type of repetitive gameloop that traditional roguelikes succeed at.

Absolutely phenomenal expansion. Loving the new classes, as well as the new races (I wonder if the Drem are a bit overpowered though?). I'm always baffled with how the creator can keep making so many classes, and keep them unique as well as fun to play.

Very much recommended for people that love the game. However, if you haven't played ToME yet, you don't need this at all, as there is so much content in the base game already.

Prismata is a very well thought out 'card' game, heavily influenced by RTS games. It is very well thought out and polished to a high degree. It has extensive options for both single and multiplayer. The multiplayer is PVP (think Hearthstone), except you do not have to collect different cards, and both you and your opponent will use the same unit selection. This removes RNG from the game and makes for a very cerebral yet enjoyable challenge. The PVE consists of an episodic campaign with an enjoyable story, as well as puzzles/challenges that can very much leave you scratching your head.

Overall I really like the game, even though I don't really like PVP games. The PVE is enough to keep me entertained. For full review, see: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NTHonSAkSvY

Endless Space 2 - Vaulters expansion is the first paid expansion for Endless Space 2. It contains a new race (Vaulters), new quests, new heroes, new modules/weapons, as well as a new mechanic: Pirate diplomacy.

If you'd like to get an overview on what's new and how it affects the game, I made a preview video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ALUzmEw-fu8

The Vaulters are a distinct race with specific colonization rules, they can buy colony upgrades with strategic goods, and can build portals in order to teleport around the map. They're very much focused on defense and science.

Overall I'm really liking this expansion. However, I wouldn't say it's a 'must have' like some of the Endless Legend expansions. The expansion mostly just adds more on top of the game, but it doesn't change the gameplay very much like some of the Endless Legend expansions did. However, the new modules especially are great, as they provide more depth about how to equip your ships, as well as counter your opponents ships.

Overall, lovely expansion for a lovely game.

Brilliant roguelike, but not for everybody. Don't pay heed to my playtime, I've been playing the DRM-free version (which later gave me a steam-key as well).

If you'd like to see some gameplay, I have a let's play here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NvmswFiT6tQ

Review:
Cogmind is a roguelike that has been in development since it's birth as a 7DRL challenge. It's very different from 'similar' games in the genre, such as Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup.

You play as a little robot that has to escape a facility. Along the way you will find lots of parts that you can weld to your body, such as threads, weels, legs, shotguns, hammers, scythes, hacking tools, fight units, drone bays, shielding units, collectors, energy cores, gauss rifles, laser weapons, grenade launchers, missile launchers, better missile launchers, amazing missile launchers...and the list goes on (there's a serious amount of different equipment).

You can use all of these items to lay waste upon your enemies...HOWEVER...the more stuff you kill, the more the overarching AI will notice your presence and will send stronger enemies towards you. So maybe being stealthy might be a good thing! There's plenty of terminals to hack, which can give you information about the current security level, but also allows you to learn more lore, new schematics, repair parts, learn where the door to the next level is etc.

It's a very deep game, and it has a very extensive manual. That said, this game does NOT hold your hand and you will be confused for a fair while not really knowing what to do (except dying over and over again). However, if you persist it will reward you!

Absolutely lovely management sim. It's definitely in early access, bugs and all, however, it's also a blast to play.

Pro's:
- Deep game
- Charming graphics
- Lots and lots of small details that make the world feel more alive

Con's:
- Tutorials are not very well done
- Quite some bugs, some of them game breaking (but patches seem to be frequent)
- Can be confusing at first, but nothing insurmountable

If you're looking for a video guide on how to play the game: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U66F8vdsF3E

Overall, if you are in to this type of game, don't hesitate to buy. However, do realize that it's still buggy and incomplete, so take that into account when making your decision. I definitely don't regret buying this and I look forward to seeing it grow.
