It's hard to talk about this game without it sounding confusing as hell. That's because it is. It's one of those weird games that you play when you're looking for a unique experience. It has story and "lore", but I use those terms somewhat loosely as much of it is vague and easy to not understand. However, its heavily based on spiritual concepts like Nirvana, enlightenment, reincarnation, and other such things. If you're not one to get caught up in story and deeper meanings too much, that's fine. Even if you understand nothing that's being said to you it can still be a fun ride. Interactions can range from silly, strange, bizarre, and somewhat unsettling. It's part of what makes the game so amusing.

As you can tell from the preview images, the game's graphical style is somewhat reminiscent of the old internet and some of the pixel style at the time. The entire game is done through text boxes and first-person mazes not unlike those old Windows screensavers. You'll walk around, interact with NPCs, and seek out new areas as you progress through the "Tower". It's a very chill, mysterious, and sometimes unsettling experience. Nothing scary, just a little off. I like the look of the game, but others may not. The resolution and window size is very small and there's no way to change it. Full-screen is possible, but the textures get so stretched that most things get very blurry, so I wouldn't recommend it. I would advise to play this on a smaller monitor if you have one. The music honestly is fantastic. It's moody, atmospheric, and has a certain vibe to its that's hard to describe. It always fits and it actually makes the lack of sound effects for many actions not too bad.

As for the gameplay it says its an RPG, but the combat is more of an afterthought. It's your basic RPGMaker type game where most special attacks are fairly useless or situational, often defaulting to basic attacks. It can definitely bog down the experience a little for some. However, it shines through with exploration. The floors may seem simple, but there's plenty of optional areas you'll need to go to in order to experience everything the game has to offer. Save often as you never know when the game will suddenly thrust you into a new area. If you're of a mind to explore and discover, then this game for sure has that. If you want to experience everything but not miss anything, a guide exists on Steam with full floor layouts and instructions on how to see all the events and get all the endings. Sadly, the game does have a number of bugs that make certain events not play and items unobtainable. Luckily there's a mod/patch for this within the Steam guides for the game, so I'd suggest getting that before playing. (UPDATE: These fixes are now included in the game.)

All in all, it's a pretty fun game with a decent amount of play time. Using a guide I beat it in about 4.5 hours, but it would take longer without one for sure. It has potential replay-ability depending on what you may have missed, as well as some interaction choices. It's definitely a trip, but that's kinda what the game is going for. If you have a few leftover bucks in your Steam Wallet and you're looking for something different, give this game a go.

Have you ever played a bullet hell and asked yourself "what if I was the boss"? Well this is kinda like that plus some enemy hell on top of that. Simple, yet addictive. Just move, kill, rinse and repeat. You'd be surprised how with a loop so simple, how different things can get. Also the soundtrack is a banger.

Get scrap, get paid, get killed, get fired. It's the perfect "great with friends/clip farm" game. Just don't take it seriously.

Okay it may seem odd to review this given my name and avatar, but I'ma do it anyway. Yes there are sexytimes, but the game seems to be holding up well enough. Yah it's pretty much a 3d exploration/visual novel, but there's some neat stuff in it. UI needs some work but this is pretty much a rough demo. That said it starts off like one of those Iseki (Probably spelled that wrong.) animes, but it's not quite like that. Story is a little vague, but expected given what little we have. Although, gotta say, won't spoil, right at the end of Day 3, stuff seems to GET REAL. Ok little spoiler. Story seems to be going in the direction of MGQ, except the humans wanna kill the monsters instead of angels killing everyone. There's a bit of speculation about where this is all headed, who's evil and whatnot, it'll be interesting to see what happens if this gets finished.

So if you like visual novels/exploration with a dash of hentai, give this a try. It's free anyway, so why not? Btw the mystery girl you fudge if you don't "play" with the girls is clearly evil. Shame she's the only voiced scene.

Also, "Similar to games you've played: Senran Kagura Estival Versus." Yah, sounds about right.

This ain't Minecraft kids. This game requires a lot of time investment and/or cooperation with other players to one common goal. Even building a simple house can be an exceedingly daunting task. Combat, while simple is brutally punishing if you mess up or go in unprepared. The base game, unaltered is absolute hell. However most servers employ modifications like speeding up action times and exp gains. Trust me, at base value even cutting down a tree can take a while. With this in mind you'll want to play on a server that speeds these things up, but they're usually advertised plainly on the server list.

There's a ton of skills so you'll want to figure out what role you want your character to focus on. Wanna go into farming and raising animals? Perhaps you'll be a miner and a blacksmith? Perhaps you'll be working with wood, making ships and wood houses. Or perhaps you'll be the token warrior with the best fight skill on the server. You aren't restricted to any number of skills, but it helps to prioritize a bit at first, then branch out later.

You'll have to keep an eye on your hunger and thirst as you play. While these two bars will never kill you if they reach zero, at least not directly, they do have influence on your stamina which is needed for nearly every action, even walking. Drinking is easy enough, just find a body of water. Food on the other hand well, you'll need cooking for that one. The better food you eat, the more hunger restored. (The nutrition system was changed a while back and I forget how it works now, but it's purly benefitial, you don't lose anything for a low value and gain when it's high.)

This game can be hard to figure out and its UI is kind of a mess. But persist and it's actually fun. If you can find someone to teach you the ropes and guide you along. Like I said most servers employ mods, even outside exp and action speed boosts. (Such as gaining money when you kill monsters, so you can maintain upkeep on your deed.) So if a server has a webpage go there and you'll get a list of mods they employ. I have 500+ hours logged in and while I haven't played in a while I do plan to get back to it. Work hard enough and people on the server will flock to you for stuff. I remember when I was the shipwright on one of my old servers.

All in all I'd give this game a 8/10 with mods in place.

Broken Reality... what can I really say? There's no real conflict, to adversity to face, you just walk around this vaporwave facebook-like world and try and get likes as if they're your score, which they are. Take pictures with as many photo stamps in them as possible, combo shopping (It makes sense in-context.) and mashing your thumb at stuff, you know just like real life. Oh you also get a katana to cut pop-up ads and viruses. However it's actually a pretty chill game and if you like aesthetics you'll love this game, especially if you like to explore and solve puzzles. I'm sure I missed a bunch on my first playthrough as I only got about 4600 out of the 5000 for the maximum rank. (3900 is required to beat the game.) However late into the game things start to feel a bit off. Near the end you're forced to do some Metriod Prime/Chozo Artifact style hunting for keys in the various worlds. As for the last area well, I don't wanna spoil it. It also actually feels like the game's creator(s) tried to put some lore into the game. This is seen during some cutscenes and in one hidden area of the game. (You're forced to go there in the late game.)

My only real critisism about the game is its ending. I won't say what it is but it was lackluster and the choices you make don't have any influence on the ending you get. It felt like a bad end more than anything else and I feel like it detracts from the lore and world they tried to build. Aside from that it's worth playing if you have $15 laying around or want something different to try. Good for relaxing and taking it easy. Just don't expect any grand conclusion to your adventure. Pick it up and start again, shooting for a higher score.

I'd give this around a 7.5-8/10.

If you're expecting a relaxing game of mini golf on fun courses well you'll get that. But make no mistake these courses are tricky! Expect to get many strokes over par your first few times through these holes until you learn the ins and outs. The special rules you can set can make games with other people hecktic, but fun, especially with 12 people! If you wanna chill with some folks with a laid back game on Steam, this is a good pic.

Also you can customize your ball. Customization is always a plus. (Yes, the customization items can be traded on Steam.)

Not your normal FPS. There are 9 classes so in turn, 9 different ways to play! With unlockable weapons and unique ways to play, I recommend this game to all FPS fans!

Also all the freaking hats.
