Cute little game about working with limited space while trying to maximise value while not having the necessary resources on hand at all times. Plus it has little pre-set puzzles that help with learning some of the cheekier interactions of the game.

9/10, very quaint and cute.

This wasn't what I was expected. I mean it WAS - play as the AI overlord that'll inevitably rise, except you get to choose whether you go Rogue Servitor, Determined Exterminator, Driven Assimilator. Remarkably, the only time the Paperclip Problem comes up it isn't even your own damn fault.

10/10, will do my best to lead humanity into a golden age whether it wants to come along quietly or get dragged kicking and screaming into the light a second time around.

Cute little builder game with just enough room per map to make either one big building, a small little hamlet, or a proper neighbourbood if you really want to get crazy. The tools the game provides are simple and intuitive, and it even has sheep and ducks you can click on to hear them bleat and quack. All in all, it's a nice little game to sit down, build out something to scratch the itch to make something.

Previously, this review was Negative due to Sony's ham-fisted attempt to pad their quarterly report numbers which would've resulted in this game being effectively stolen from paying customers in regions where PlayStation Network accounts could not be created. As they are reversing their decision, I am changing my review to positive - which, frankly, is my true view of the game.

The game is fun, hectic on the higher difficulties, and having friends or even just randoms with voice chat working together can create downright cinematic experiences.

I shall still be wary of Sony going forward in case they attempt something similar again, but until that day I shall enjoy this game and I shall do so with a genuinely global community.

Stayed because this is the beautiful fusion between Rimworld and Dwarf Fortress that I keep trying to mod Rimworld into.

Bit rough around the edges in places, but what's already here is pretty dang good.
9/10, would accidentally make a crime-ridden hellhole because elves keep getting into racially-charged brawls with literally everyone again

Big Stompy Mech fun.

I mean, sure, I could write a big, in-depth review - but this is mostly just a Fun game. Simple with enough mechanics outside the combat to be interesting, and the combat itself is quite well done. The only real issue I have is a lack of a proper story, and how easy the final mission is (which is unlocked the moment you have two adjacent territories to the capitol territory, and since it's positioned in the middle it has a very low threat rating compared to everything else past it.)

All in all, as of time of writing it's just a simple turn-based mech game where you issue orders in turns that are 5 real-time seconds long and either concuss enemy pilots and steal their shirts, or blow them up with overwhelming firepower and/or just slamming them in the face with an axe.

Came for terraforming mars, stayed for a darn interesting story
