I'll try to keep this brief and subjective but it should be noted I love the devs' work and I'm a sucker for most stuff associated with Asian cultures.
PSA: I have finished the game. The achievments reflect that but since they're locked they might not show up. The small amount of hours is due to me playing it in offline mode due to internet trouble.

Starting with the graphics, the game looks absolutely gorgeous. The design of the locations can be both stunning and creepy when needed, as well as it all functioning well with the game mechanics. The only struggle I had was the 60 FPS lock but it wasn't hard to get used to it. There also are fixes made by fans to fix the FPS issue.

The story in Sekiro is a bit different from what FS got us used to. Contrary to the SoulsBorne series where you had to figure out the full story yourself (using the world, item descriptions etc.) the devs opted for a more direct approach. Fear not however, it is still an interesting and griping tale about Shinobi, Warriors and most important of all - Loyalty. Also while the storytelling is indeed more direct we still don't get all the details on a plate. Theorists and Lore hunters will have lots to find out in the side-quests, item descriptions and others.

Now for the most important - The Gameplay. The game features possibly my favorite combat system to date. Challenging, unforgiving but flowing and ridiculously fun. You may have heard of the game's difficulty and yes - it is very challenging. However if you learn how to play it will become increasingly fun even if the enemies become that much more difficult.
A big aspect of the game are also its movement mechanics. You are after all a Shinobi not a night or a hunter. The movement is responsive, fluid and pure fun. It makes the exploration easier and more enjoyable and is used in the game for various challenges and boss fights.

Now to sum it up, I definitely recommend this game. For me coming pretty damn close to a 10/10. I simply can't wait for any upcoming DLCs and hope to even see a sequel.
Is this game for everyone though? No. If you struggle with challenging games that require precision and reflexes you might have a bad time. With the refund system however nothing stops you from trying and while 2h might not be completely representative of the game, it will give you some feeling of it.
