As others have stated, the game was a completely different beast before they removed weapon sway and introduced Gunslinger. It is now a twitch shooter that feels the same as every other FPS game on the market.

I would have argued that this game was more nuanced and complex and difficult than other "BR-like" games available right now, and fought to the death to take the Battle Royale title away from this game (because it is a genre fraught with terrible games), but it feels exactly the same as every other Battle Royale game and, as such, I suppose that is exactly what it is.

If you were watching gameplay of this game from months ago and loved what you saw, just stay away. It isn't the same game and the developers don't appear to have any intentions of changing it back to what it once was. If you want to play Fortnite with less players and some PvE bosses, come on in.

I personally feel completely cheated by the developers and have requested a refund, though I'm sure it will be automatically denied due to play time. Shame on Crytek for having no backbone or integrity. Shame on them for advertising this game for a year as something different than they intended it to be come launch.
